1. The snot-like texture definitely provides a moisturizing effect. 2. It's so hydrating that I didn't feel any dryness while using it, and I love that it doesn't feel heavy even when layered multiple times! 3. It gives your face a beautiful glow when applied. 4. Suitable for both morning and evening use. You can definitely use it before makeup! (I use Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, and there's no pilling). 5. I have super sensitive skin, but I didn't experience any irritation at all (no blemishes either).
1. (This may vary depending on skin type) My mother said it stung when she used it. 2. If you're sensitive to scents, you might find the smell a bit off-putting. However, it's not a harsh scent, just the characteristic smell of sea tangle. 3. If I had to nitpick, it might be difficult to use in summer. 4. It might be challenging for those with very oily skin to use.
If you layer it multiple times, your skin feels incredibly soft the next day.
