It has a subtle, shimmery pearl-like effect that gives the impression of wearing a highlighter when applied It's pricey... And it doesn't apply smoothly, possibly because the oils make it clump on the powder. (This is my fault though, not really a flaw with the product...!) - 98********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 18, 2020
This is my holy grail blush! As a beauty nomad, I've tried many brands, but NARS is truly unbeatable. The staying power is incredible - it absolutely refuses to budge. It suits my slightly darker complexion with light undertones (shade 22) perfectly. The pigmentation is intense, so application control is key. Use a brush to apply tiny amounts at a time! The shade is on the deeper, muted side, so it might be more flattering on medium to darker skin tones (22, 23, or deeper) rather than very fair complexions. It's the most beautiful blush I've ever worn on my skin. It has that effortless, sun-kissed look you'd see on international beauty gurus - perfect for a tanned complexion. (Note: The lighting in the photo makes my skin appear a few shades lighter than it actually is!) The only potential drawback is the extremely intense pigmentation. I've gotten used to it now and can work with it well, but it might be challenging for beginners. However, given how exceptional everything else about this blush is, I can hardly consider this a real con! - sh********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJul 30, 2020
This is a reliable go-to product that works well regardless of the season. Personally, I find it even more comfortable to use because the shimmer isn't too intense. I don't have any major issues with it. The case does get dirty easily, but that's about it. I'm definitely planning to repurchase in the future. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinJul 15, 2020
The color is truly beautiful. It's somehow striking yet natural at the same time. I think it might be due to the shimmer, but when used continuously, it seems to cause a few blemishes on dry skin. It's great for creating a fresh, fruity makeup look! - sw*********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedNov 27, 2019
This uncommon autumn shade has a deep, rich color that pairs beautifully with sophisticated and atmospheric makeup looks, perfect for creating a mature and elegant appearance. Due to its darker tone, it doesn't show up as prettily on lighter warm-toned complexions like mine. The color payoff isn't as flattering as I'd hoped. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 3, 2019
The color is absolutely stunning! It seems to apply like a mix of chili red with a hint of pink, and it looks even more beautiful as it brightens your complexion! I was really impressed by how well the fine shimmer particles complement the color without being distracting. They blend seamlessly, creating a gorgeous effect! Just a heads up - the actual shade is much deeper than in my photo! It's pretty much identical to the product image you see. Controlling the intensity can be a bit tricky! This is just my personal opinion, so take it with a grain of salt! While using a brush would help distribute it evenly, applying with your fingers might be a challenge to get a uniform coverage. The blush has excellent adherence to the skin, which means it sets almost instantly with just a light touch, making it difficult to blend further. I found it looks absolutely gorgeous when paired with MAC Marrakesh! I highly recommend always using a brush when applying this blush for the best results! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 18, 2019
NARS blushes all seem to have excellent color payoff. Even with Dolce Vita, just one touch with a brush gives intense pigmentation. That's why controlling the amount is crucial! As someone with a cool summer complexion, I feel like this shade doesn't quite suit me. The color itself is beautiful though! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 7, 2019
Perfect for autumn! The color payoff is amazing and it's totally worth the price. The shades are quintessentially NARS. If you prefer subtle, natural-looking color, this one might end up collecting dust in your makeup drawer. Use a large brush to tap off excess and blend gradually, otherwise you might end up looking like a baked sweet potato. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2019
The dried rose color gave it a different vibe from other brands' blushes that tend to look too bright. It had a more luxurious feel to it. On days when I had some blemishes, it made my face look redder and more pronounced. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 18, 2019
1. Pigmentation Personally, I feel this blush has better color payoff compared to other NARS blushes. 2. Color It's a shade that creates a deep autumn vibe without any white cast. 3. Versatility It's great for use as an eyeshadow too. By applying the same color on your cheeks and eyes, you can create a more cohesive look with a sense of harmony. As mentioned earlier, the pigmentation is excellent, so there's no issue using it as an eyeshadow. 4. Packaging To be honest, the sleek, modern, and clean packaging, which could be said to account for 80% of why I prefer NARS products, is an undeniable major advantage, albeit with a minor drawback. 1. Brush vs. Fingers For some reason, there's a strange irony in that applying it with fingers results in less patchiness than using a brush. Since it's a product used for targeted application on small areas, I always prefer to quickly swipe it on with my fingers. 2. Packaging As mentioned above, there's a minor drawback. The beautiful matte case, like a person with a big heart that accepts everything, tends to attract all sorts of marks and easily gets dirty, making it difficult to maintain.
