  First off, with these types of patches, sometimes the edges can feel a bit ticklish when applied around the eyes. Depending on the material, I've occasionally used them elsewhere despite being labeled for eye use. However, these adhere comfortably to the skin without any irritation and stay put nicely. I also appreciate that they're not too small in size. While wearing the mask, the essence doesn't dry out quickly, nor does it drip down your face. The patch seems to hold just the right amount of essence, giving a wonderfully hydrating impression. I use these for brightening around my eyes and for extra hydration on my smile lines and around my mouth. Even after removing the patches, my skin feels moisturized, and the hydration and active ingredients seem to have a noticeable brightening effect. This is definitely a product I'll keep an eye out for during sales or buy-one-get-one-free promotions to repurchase.

  It's hygienic and moisturizing. Being made of silicone, it prevents moisture loss much better. I was worried about my eye area getting dry after showering and doing skincare, especially while drying my hair. I bought this to protect my eye wrinkles. I didn't have freckles to begin with, and while it didn't dramatically improve my blemishes, it did prevent new ones from appearing, which was pretty good. I usually get milia or small blemishes when products are too oily, but this one is mainly vitamin and hydration-focused, so it was moisturizing and non-irritating, which I loved.

  There's nothing particularly bad to mention, it's quite decent. Just make sure to position it correctly when applying.

  Pros

  This review is based on using up an entire container. I decided to buy these eye patches because I felt my eye area was looking dull and dry. When shopping for cosmetics, I always check the ingredients on Hwahae first, and I found these to be gentle. Naturally, I'm more cautious about what I put around my eyes. While I couldn't use them daily, they were much easier to apply than sheet masks. I found it great to put them on for about 5 minutes while drying my hair after a shower - it really provides good hydration. Being gel patches, they stayed put well without falling off or sliding down, no matter what I was doing. The container comes with a spoon for hygienic application, which I think is a well-designed packaging feature. Throughout using the entire container, I experienced no discomfort or blemishes, and my eye area definitely felt more moisturized when using these. They might be nice to keep in the fridge for a cooling effect in summer. To be honest, while my eye area didn't dramatically brighten or my dark circles didn't magically disappear, I do recommend these as they seem to add moisture and brighten the eye area compared to not using them. Also, since whitening products can sometimes be drying, it's great that these offer both whitening and hydration. Lastly, as someone particular about recycling, I appreciate that the container is recyclable - just toss it in with plastics after use. Love that!

  I didn't really have any complaints. Just keep in mind that leaving them on for too long might dry out your skin, so I recommend sticking to about 5 minutes of use.

  Tip

  I found it works best to apply the eye patches after showering, then dry my hair, and remove them once I'm done. Highly recommend this routine!

  I started using this because I've always been concerned about my dark circles. I'm almost done with the first jar, and I must say, I love how the large size allows me to cover not just the under-eye area but also any pigmentation or freckles around the eyes. It's significantly improved the dryness and dullness around my eye area.

  Cons

  I wish the lid was a simple flip-top instead of the twist-off style. Also, while it comes with a spoon-like applicator, I think it would be more convenient if it included a pair of tweezers instead!
