I'd give it about 4.6 stars. At first, it applies like an ordinary, unremarkable foundation, brightening the skin. But as time passes, it creates a subtle glow. It doesn't make you excessively bright. For reference, I have a complexion between shades 13-17, B00 being the lightest shade, which matches my neck and skin tone. For comparison, the lightest shade of Chanel's Camellia foundation matches my skin tone. From initial application to when it starts to break down, it shows average performance. - qm****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
It adheres well to the skin, absorbs beautifully, and has a lovely color. I really like it! There's not much to complain about. At first, I wasn't sure if I liked it, but the more I use it, the more I love it. In summer, if you mix it half-and-half with Estée Lauder foundation, you won't need any touch-ups. - eg*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 31, 2024
The coverage, adherence, and lasting power are top-notch. It's fantastic and stays on for ages! The price is quite steep. It's a shame since it's a product I use daily. - le*****Combination SkinOct 8, 2024
Lasts long without darkening. From a distance, it makes the skin look good. However, I can't think of any other positives at the moment. Accentuates pores and looks dry even when applied with a puff. The same issue persists when applied over Dior base or with fingers. The skin somehow appears suffocated, and the foundation seems to cling to skin texture, emphasizing dryness. Even with a solid skincare routine, it still looks dry. I'm at a loss for how to apply it properly. - ry********Oily SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 23, 2024
A foundation that sets to a matte finish! For the best adherence, spread it thinly and pat it in with a cushion puff. I really liked how it applied. If you have visible pores, they might be accentuated. I recommend using a primer underneath. It does emphasize pores. However, if you apply it well, it really... doesn't lift or separate unless you're sweating heavily from intense exercise. Recommend using a cushion puff for application. - eo*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessMay 16, 2024
It has a radiant finish and blends well with other products. Just the right amount. I recommend shade 19. For dry skin, it's still drying no matter what. The color alone isn't wearable (shade 21 was a fail for warm tones). Brighter than shade 21. It gives a radiant look similar to wedding makeup. - gr********Combination SkinRecommendedJan 17, 2024
Luxurious skin finish! The first day I applied this foundation, my husband asked why I looked so beautiful after such a long time. Great adherence and long-lasting power! It suits my fair complexion perfectly. When I tested it on the back of my hand in the store, it felt dewy as expected from a 'glow' product. However, I was disappointed that it didn't give the same glow effect when applied to my face. - ca*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 3, 2024
As someone with skin tone around shade 17, I'm thrilled that the color matches perfectly. There's absolutely no darkening, and the staying power is truly impressive. I applied just a thin layer without any other concealer, and even after nearly 6 hours (as shown in the photo), while it didn't completely cover blemishes, the bright tone remained. It really gives a clear and beautiful complexion! Despite its 'glow' name, it can feel a bit drying on the skin. However, the visible effect does create a radiant, luminous finish that catches the light beautifully. - zl******Combination SkinRecommendedJun 4, 2023
Despite its 'glow' name, it has a strong fixing effect, making it especially great for summer use. If you have fair skin tone (shade 21 or lighter), you'll likely be satisfied with the color. For those with shade 22, it's quite bright. Opting for a shade darker creates a noticeable color difference. - km******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2023
I've used the Le Beige cushion before, and I bought this product thinking it would be a moisturizing foundation because of the 'Glow' in its name. However, it turned out to be different from what I expected. The advantage is that compared to other Chanel foundations, the color is brighter, so it looked fine even when applied without base makeup. It has a semi-matte finish, which made it surprisingly good at not transferring onto masks. When it did break down, I didn't find it particularly messy. It was drying. The ingredients weren't great, which I didn't like, and it caused blemishes on my skin.
