This is truly my favorite low pH cleanser. I have combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes and sensitivity, and I mainly use this as my morning cleanser. Depending on how my skin feels after the first cleanse, it can also work as a second cleanser. Among low pH foams, the cleansing effectiveness, texture, and after-feel can vary subtly, and many products fall short. However, this one stands out with its excellent cleansing power while still being a moisturizing low pH foam. While salicylic acid helps with excess oil in my T-zone, I sometimes find low pH foams with high salicylic acid content a bit harsh during use. This product seems to have a lower concentration, making it gentle on my skin. (Despite my super sensitive skin, none of the ingredients flagged by Hwahae seem to irritate me.) I'm currently using this as my main morning cleanser and probably have about three bottles stocked up. I really hope they never discontinue this product! If I had to pick something: The price point isn't low, so it would be nice if they had sales more often. - ch*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 14, 2024
I've been using this for multiple bottles because it's so gentle and effective. The pump dispenser is also great for hygiene. The cleansing effectiveness might be a bit lacking if you wear heavy makeup. - mi*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinApr 21, 2024
The quantity is a bit more than I expected. While it may vary from person to person, I used it for about 6 months. Since I usually only apply sunscreen, I use this alone when cleansing. I found its cleansing effectiveness to be quite good for just removing sunscreen. However, if you're wearing BB cream, foundation, or other makeup, I recommend using an additional cleanser. I bought this because it was said to be good for blemishes and pimples, but personally, I didn't see any effects on those issues. If you have dry skin, your face might feel very dry right after cleansing. It might be more suitable for those with oily skin. Using about two pumps seems to be just the right amount. - lj*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedFeb 17, 2024
About the size of a milk carton, this pretty case comes with a pump dispenser, making it both hygienic and easy to use. I typically use 2-3 pumps per application! The formula is gentle and lightweight, making it suitable for combination dehydrated skin or oily skin types without feeling heavy. Unlike some cleansing gels that have a watery consistency and don't lather well, this one creates a rich, bouncy foam whether your hands are wet or dry. When used with wet hands, it produces even larger, more luxurious bubbles than shown in the picture above! When you work up a lather with slightly damp hands, it creates a foam that adheres well to your face without dripping during cleansing. With continued use, I've found I can adjust the water amount to achieve my desired foam consistency, which I really appreciate. Unless I'm wearing waterproof makeup or products with glitter that are hard to remove, this cleansing gel alone is sufficient for a thorough cleanse. It effectively removes regular eyeliner, lipstick, and face makeup. Of course, on days when I'm wearing heavier makeup, I do a double or triple cleanse. I particularly enjoy using this for my morning cleanse. It removes the excess oil and impurities that build up overnight without stripping the skin's moisture, leaving it feeling hydrated. After cleansing, I love how my skin feels refreshed on the surface without any irritation, while feeling moisturized and not tight underneath. The finish is comfortably hydrated - not too slippery or squeaky clean. The scent might be polarizing. It has a strong vinegar-like fragrance. - rl*******Combination SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2023
I have oily skin prone to dead skin cell buildup, and I'm using this as my second cleanser. Previously, after using alkaline cleansers, my makeup seemed removed, but it felt like a layer of dead skin cells remained on my skin. This would peel off like dead skin in the bath, causing my makeup to look patchy. Recently, I've been using a pea-sized amount of Needley gel, leaving it on for about a minute, then rinsing with warm water. My skin feels incredibly soft and smooth afterward! It's so satisfying to feel how silky and smooth my skin becomes while rinsing. It seems to dissolve dead skin cells and sebum effectively. My enlarged nose pores have visibly reduced, and both skincare products and makeup absorb better now (I'm seeing great results with this). I've tried various low pH cleansers, but this one suits me best. I think I'll stick with it until I find something even better! Not suitable as a first cleanser. Works well as a second cleanser or for morning cleansing. Leave on for about a minute before rinsing? - so*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 7, 2023
I used to think cleansing was just... well, cleansing. I'd use whatever I received as a gift or whatever was on sale. But this product? I'm on my third bottle now. It's become my go-to cleanser. After using it, my skin feels so comfortable. What's more, I'm prone to those pesky little blemishes, but with this, they either appear less frequently or seem to calm down faster if they've already popped up. It's just... great! The price can be a bit steep if it's not on sale. But honestly? I think it's worth every penny. It's not exactly a pro tip, but here's my routine: I use this (a low pH cleanser) for my morning cleanse. On days when I've worn heavy makeup or feel like my skin has a buildup of dead skin cells and impurities, I opt for a slightly alkaline cleanser in the evening. - oh*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresOct 14, 2023
✓ Suitable for acne-prone, oily, sensitive, and combination dehydrated skin - a gentle cleansing foam ✓ Attractive packaging with a convenient pump dispenser ✓ Rich and soft foam with just one pump ✓ Ideal for a light morning cleanse ✗ Not suitable for removing heavy makeup ✗ While the foam is soft, it's more like large soap bubbles rather than dense, fine foam ✗ Despite being marketed for acne-prone and sensitive skin, it seems to highlight blemishes rather than soothe ✗ Skin feels tight if toner isn't applied immediately after use, suggesting it might be more suited for oily, acne-prone skin ✗ The scent is divisive - some say it smells like grass, others like dishwashing liquid. After reading reviews, it does smell like dishwashing liquid Rating: 3.5 out of 5 stars While the pump dispenser is convenient, the distinctive dishwashing liquid scent and large foam bubbles give the impression of washing your face with detergent - dm********Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedOct 10, 2023
It has a transparent water-jelly texture. When you pump it out, it looks like the left photo, but when you mix it with water, it creates dense foam as shown in the right photo. Despite being a gel type with a slightly acidic pH, it lathers up surprisingly well and feels gentle. I make sure to use this every morning, working it into a lather! It even washes away ultra-fine dust particles, giving me the feeling that I'm really taking care of my neglected skin. I've used up the entire bottle, being careful not to waste any, and I'm definitely repurchasing. I hope they don't discontinue this product... it's absolutely perfect as a morning cleanser! The price! I've always wanted to repurchase this consistently, but the cost held me back from splurging. Please don't discontinue it and have more frequent sales! I'm extremely satisfied with this product. - so*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 1, 2023
I've always been a fan of Needily cleansing products, so I naturally trusted and purchased their previous cleansing gel. Now I'm on my third bottle! It lasts longer than expected, and I'm satisfied with how convenient the pump is and how gently yet effectively it removes makeup. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. I'm completely satisfied! It worked well even on my sensitive, blemish-prone skin without causing any issues. - im*******Dry SkinRecommendedAug 19, 2023
- The packaging is beautiful, and it's compact - about the size of a 300ml milk carton. - It's gentle on the skin, and leaves a moisturized feeling after washing. - The box packaging is also pretty, making it a great gift option. The scent didn't quite work for me! It reminded me a bit of the soap you'd buy at a supermarket. However, I've seen many reviews praising the fragrance as luxurious. This seems perfect for morning use!
