It's so great that it's cruelty-free and vegan. The coverage is excellent, and the finish is so smooth and radiant. I was debating between the Glow and Steady versions, but since I have combination skin, I went with the Steady. It leaves a lovely, soft-focus look all day long! Those with oily skin can just do a light dusting of powder to keep the shine at bay.
ConsIt was a bit drying for me... The application is nice and smooth, but the dryness was an issue. And the darkening! I have to take off a star for the darkening - it seems to get a bit dull-looking over time. Also, it tends to apply a bit thicker, so you'll need to use a sponge to sheer it out nicely. Otherwise, it can accentuate any uneven texture.
TipOverall, it's a great product though! I'd love to try the cushion version too. For oily skin types, a light powder is a must!

ConsIt's a shame that it sticks to the mask....ㅠㅠ But since the coverage is great...I like it☺️ㅠㅠ It tends to get cakey over time...!! Retouch makeup is a must
TipIt's great to use with a setting spray!!

I've been using the Amore Pacific Air Cushion 23 for a long time, and when I started using a foundation again, the coverage felt much better. A small amount is enough to make my face look radiant, and I'm satisfied with the result. It matches my warm-toned skin well! The adhesion is also quite good.
ConsWhile the adhesion is good, since I have a lot of oiliness in my skin, it tends to slip over time. I need to use oil blotting papers or powder to touch up my makeup.
TipIf you pump it straight down, too much product comes out. Just lightly pump it and apply a thin layer, and the warmth of your hands helps it adhere well. I use my hands to apply it instead of a brush or puff, as I feel the tools would absorb too much product and it would be wasteful. Make sure to wash your hands thoroughly before applying. For the chin area, apply very little or skip it altogether, so you can get a natural contouring effect that makes your face look smaller.

I think the shade 23 matches my skin tone perfectly. At first, it may seem a bit light, but after contouring and completing my makeup, the tone is just right and maintains well The coverage is good, so I can apply a thin layer of foundation and use the remaining foundation with a concealer brush to cover the less covered areas. It's not too thick and finishes matte, making it easy to cover simply - I'm willing to purchase this with my own money!! It seems like a good option for oily-skinned people to use in the winter
Cons- There's no major point that I dislike. The matte formula does cling a bit if applied heavily, but that's to be expected - It's matte, but not so matte that it doesn't transfer onto the mask. When wearing a mask, the breath and heat make the makeup wear off easily, and I found it does transfer onto the mask - Regardless of what I use, this issue seems to be the same
TipThese days with masks, if you apply a thin layer of the Shu Uemura Nude Foundation and just lightly cover the trouble areas with the remaining foundation, it covers well without looking too thick

I've used this product around 4 times! 1. Coverage It covers blemishes and pigmentation nicely. It covers redness well, and even if the pigmentation is not completely covered, it still provides a clean and neat coverage! The skin expression is very pretty. 2. Adherence It feels like it adheres well to the face, and it hardly transfers onto the mask. Even though I have an oily skin type, the oil control was not a major concern even after around 8 hours. 3. Longevity The areas where I had some flakiness initially actually became cleaner over time as it interacted with the oil. The product has a nice staying power without breaking down. 4. Color I was worried that the N2 color might be too yellow for my cool-toned skin, but it brightened my complexion in a fresh and natural way. It's luminous without compromising the coverage, and I'm very satisfied with it. If you normally use shade 23, the N2 color should work well to give you a radiant look. When I swatched it on my wrist, I thought it looked a bit pink, but it looked natural once applied on the face.
Cons1. Texture This is a product that sets very quickly. If you squeeze some out on the back of your hand, it will start to harden after a while, so there can be some product wastage. But if you control the amount well, it shouldn't be an issue. The quick setting also makes it a bit tricky to blend, so I'd recommend applying it in small, gradual layers. 2. Flakiness Even after exfoliating, I experienced a lot of flakiness. I tried using different amounts and application methods like a pore brush and a sponge, but it kept flaking. So if you have dry skin or are concerned about flakiness, I would not recommend this product. (The photo is of my nose area, so please make sure to exfoliate thoroughly.) 3. Acne Emphasis While it doesn't emphasize things like acne scars or marks, it does tend to make any raised blemishes or pimples look more pronounced, making them appear more three-dimensional. So keep that in mind. 4. Creasing Personally, I didn't have an issue with creasing around the nose area, but I did notice some creasing in the laugh line/nasolabial fold area. Careful with the amount used in those areas. 5. Difficulty with Dosage It's really hard to get the right amount - using too little makes it seem like it hasn't set properly, but using a bit more can suddenly make it look cakey. I think this is something I need to practice, so with some trial and error, the dosage should be manageable.
TipWhile the drawbacks may outweigh the benefits, I think this foundation is quite suitable for the current situation. The shade range is also quite wide, so if you're looking for a matte foundation, this could be worth considering. You can just match the shade to your own skin tone and it should give you a radiant look. Most importantly, I think proper skin prep is crucial with this product. If you make sure to moisturize really well, perhaps even a bit on the oily side, that might help minimize the flakiness. Personally, I found a damp makeup sponge to be the best tool. The small pore brush from Daiso also worked well for covering pores. The air puff wasn't bad either. The dry makeup sponge didn't spread the product as evenly, and using your fingers is fine, but be careful with the application pressure, as that can emphasize flakiness. Overall, while it has some drawbacks, I think this could be a suitable foundation option, especially given the current climate. With the right skin prep and application technique, the issues can be managed. The wide shade range is also a plus.
