- It naturally brightens your skin, giving you a fair complexion - Absorbs well into the skin - Provides some improvement in skin texture - Being flammable makes it concerning to carry around - For the same reason, it could be dangerous - The slight gas odor is unpleasant - Spraying it too close can be really hazardous - The strong spray can cause it to splatter everywhere I sprayed it on the back of my hand and patted it in with a puff. Applying it this way allows for quick absorption and nicely evens out the skin texture, which I really like - 19*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsAug 3, 2022
I tried this for a cool makeup look with a blue tone, and it was pretty great! Love that it also provides sun protection. It wasn't as smooth as I expected, with a bit of a floating feeling which was disappointing. It's okay if you hydrate your skin well beforehand. Since it's a spray type, you need to apply it from a distance, and it has a bit of a scent. You might prefer using a regular brightening moisturizer instead. - oh********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJul 18, 2022
I was curious after seeing the ad and decided to give it a try. I really like how simple and elegant the packaging is. When I sprayed it directly on my face, it was too painful. I tried it on the back of my hand instead, and it was so strong that my skin turned red. I'm not even sure if it actually brightens the complexion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJan 14, 2022
There's not a single redeeming quality about this product. Absolutely do not buy it. Wow, it really doesn't brighten the skin at all, and it's so stiff that it doesn't even spread properly. Don't waste your money on this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinDec 29, 2021
It naturally brightens the skin and has a nice cooling effect too It really didn't suit my skin at all. After using it, my skin reacted badly and it was very uncomfortable to apply - yj**Combination SkinSep 12, 2021
If you're a fan of that glowy look, this might be worth a try Purplish's advertising is really... I'm not sure if it's exaggerated or false advertising. Their tint, which they claimed had great staying power and staining effect, turned out to be a complete dud. This booster seems to be just a glow booster. It brightens the skin ever so slightly, giving a very natural, bare-faced look. It would probably look truly natural on people who already have good, fair skin Give it a spritz if your skin feels dry during winter - dl******Combination SkinAug 3, 2021
First off, it absorbs well and feels lightweight. I really liked that it doesn't leave a sticky finish after application. I'm not sure if it actually evens skin tone, and the spray format makes it difficult to apply evenly. If I could turn back time, I probably wouldn't buy it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 19, 2021
I really loved that it was fine to apply just with my hands. First off, maybe it's because I have a darker complexion, but when I applied it, my face turned grayish instead of becoming white like in the ads. Also, I wish it were fragrance-free, but there was a gas-like smell that made me hold my breath. - in*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 14, 2021
I usually adapt quickly to products even if they don't feel great on my skin, as long as they don't cause a reaction. I tend to use most products for quite a while, but this one I had to toss after just a couple of uses. This product gave me both skin irritation and a terrible user experience. It's a spray-type application, but apparently you're not supposed to spray it directly on your face. I wondered why they chose this packaging if that's the case. Having to apply it to the back of your hand first means the brightening effect is minimal and there's no coverage at all. Feeling frustrated, I tried using it as a body brightener, but my sensitive skin immediately broke out in red, itchy bumps. I later found out there's a warning about potential cold burns if you spray it in one spot for too long. I've enjoyed this brand's lip tints before, so I bought this thinking it might be convenient despite seeming a bit gimmicky. Now I'm planning to cut ties with this brand altogether. This is a case of extreme false advertising. Don't waste your money on this. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 6, 2021
Absolutely nothing positive to say. It's truly that bad. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's an extremely greasy sunscreen with a watery texture! Brightening? More like frightening. It doesn't even apply properly, it's excessively oily, and being an aerosol, I end up coughing and spluttering when spraying it. I'm shocked at how misleading this product is - it's a first for me. I've vowed never to buy Purplish products again. What's the point of flashy advertising if you can't retain customers after their first purchase? Instead of creating nonsensical cosmetics that give us headaches, go back and do more research. Sort this out before I'm forced to file a formal complaint.
