It adheres thinly and provides decent coverage, which I really like. Many people find it inconvenient that you have to dispense the product, and it might raise some hygiene concerns. It works great if you dispense some onto the back of your hand first, then quickly apply it with a pump action. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 5, 2022
As someone with super sensitive skin, I usually can't use foundation. But this one doesn't cause any itching, cleanses off easily, and despite its hydrating properties, it leaves a wonderfully matte finish. While it's not particularly high coverage, I'm satisfied because it doesn't apply too thick! - wi*********Combination SkinRecommendedSep 13, 2021
The ultimate glow foundation. With a solid skincare base, this alone creates a dewy, radiant complexion. It maintains hydration even in dry indoor environments or weather. No pilling, and shade 2 Sand Color is a perfect match for my cool undertones. In these times of mask-wearing, we tend to look for transfer-proof foundations, but this one definitely transfers onto masks. It also seems to have slightly lower staying power. However, the subtle flush it gives works like a blush, so I'll let that slide. I applied it with a damp beauty blender. It might be too thick to blend with fingers. Alternatively, lightly mist your sponge before tapping it on, and you'll be amazed at the glowing skin you achieve! - el****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 21, 2021
From the sleek and modern packaging, Huxley immediately caught my eye. I've had a great impression of the brand from the start. I first tried their ampoule, which felt like a godsend for my dry skin with its incredible hydration. This foundation is truly amazing too! It's made me forget about my previously flaky skin. The skincare-infused base provides a translucent coverage that allows for a moisturized and natural-looking complexion. The adherence is noticeably improved, giving a skin-like, natural coverage without looking cakey or artificial. Being packed with skincare ingredients, once I apply my makeup, I don't experience any dryness or skin cracking even by the time I get home. The foundation particles feel incredibly fine and smooth. The custom applicator makes it easy to spread on the skin and control the amount. It's a stick-type applicator. As soon as you apply it to your skin, you can feel the moisture while it effectively conceals small blemishes. I was impressed with the coverage right from the start. Its soft, moisturizing essence-like texture adheres thinly and transparently, creating a semi-glowy base. Even when applying two layers, it doesn't cake or separate, just increases coverage, which I love. It makes your skin look naturally good while maintaining hydration for a long time. The natural-looking coverage makes my skin appear so good that I've been receiving many more compliments! Above all, I highly recommend it for its moisturizing formula that gives a natural yet luxurious glow! While the stick-type applicator isn't as inconvenient to use as I thought it might be, it's a bit disappointing that the opening tends to get dirty. - xi******Combination SkinJul 4, 2021
The coverage is better compared to cushion foundations, and the packaging of the foundation is really pretty. I absolutely adore the Huxley cushion (it's my holy grail), so I bought this foundation thinking I could use it for longer. But it's so different from the cushion, I'm disappointed. While the coverage is better than the cushion, it oddly sits on top of the skin. I loved how the cushion adhered perfectly to my skin. The color also seems more yellow-toned than the cushion sand shade. And the foundation bottle... it's beautiful, but why did they design it this way? The foundation doesn't dispense easily, and when you turn it upside down, it's hard to control the amount. After using it and trying to put the applicator back in, a film forms around the opening, causing the foundation to backflow. Sigh... I'm going back to cushions. - hy*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 15, 2021
It's lightweight and moisturizing. The yellow base is great for covering acne scars. It also does a good job of concealing pores and blemishes. The ingredients aren't the best, which is disappointing. Other than that, I don't have any particular complaints. - bo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2021
This foundation is great for achieving a natural skin look with excellent adherence. I typically use shade 21 for foundations and powders, so I chose 02 Sand, which matched my skin perfectly. The formula has a fluid consistency and feels incredibly hydrating, making it very easy to apply. The adherence is top-notch! At first, I thought it might look greasy due to its moisturizing properties, but surprisingly, it has a semi-matte finish. While it's not completely transfer-proof on masks, it leaves minimal residue, which is a plus. Initially, it seemed to have a slight yellow tint when applied, but after completing my base makeup, it wasn't noticeable at all, which was a relief. The coverage is average. It conceals light blemishes, but doesn't fully cover darker spots or freckles. I'd recommend using a concealer alongside this foundation for better results. - tl********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2021
■My complexion: Light undertone, Lagshi/olive tone/shade 22 ■Color/Pigmentation: Yellow foundation ✓, Pink ✗, Neutral ✗, Greenish ✗ For my olive tone shade 22 skin, it makes my face look a bit yellowish! If you usually use yellow-toned foundations, this might work well for you~ As I have an olive undertone with grayish, opaque, and greenish hints, I couldn't say the color was a perfect match for me~ ■Texture/Longevity: It's a very thin, liquid-like consistency! It adheres to the skin very lightly and thinly~ As you layer it, it builds up nicely~ Coverage-wise, I'd say it's about 2.5-3 out of 5~ If you prefer a natural makeup look that lets your skin breathe, you might really like this~ The longevity isn't great though! You'll probably need to touch up often. ■Value for money: I've wanted to try Huxley foundation for a while, so I used a sample. While the texture was nice, it was too yellow for my skin tone. The price is quite high, so I wish they had more shade options~ It's not particularly good value for money! At this price point, you might be better off buying a department store foundation. It's too yellow, making olive tones look sallow~ The coverage and longevity aren't particularly good~ If the foundation color or coverage is lacking, try mixing it with another foundation~ - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 23, 2021
✓ Hydrating True to its name, it's a moisturizing foundation that's perfect for winter use. It's ideal for those with combination dehydrated skin in the colder months. (As I'll mention later, it has a slightly matte finish but still maintains a nice level of hydration.) ✓ Finish / Adherence / Coverage I love that it gives a subtle glow without being overly shiny. The best part is how it provides good coverage while still feeling lightweight and adhering well to the skin. It applies smoothly even without special tools. ✓ Semi-matte With its hydrating yet semi-matte finish, it's great for winter when we're wearing masks. It's not completely transfer-proof, but for a moisturizing and beautiful foundation, I'm satisfied with its performance. ✓ Design The mini round packaging is adorably cute! ✓ Pores It fills in pores nicely, enhancing the beautiful glow. ✓ Shininess? I'm not sure if it's because I have oily skin or if it's just me, but even with a bare face, when I take off my mask, my skin looks a bit shiny or glowy. Since the foundation itself has a slight glow, when I remove my mask, it feels like there's a layer of oil on top. I'm not particularly fond of this effect. - an*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 13, 2020
I tried out a sample of Huxley's Moist Foundation Own Attitude! I usually wear shades 22-23, so I used the Sand shade (No. 2), and it matches my skin tone perfectly - not too light or dark. It gives a slightly brightening effect that evens out the complexion! What I loved most is that even though the office heater usually makes my skin crack by afternoon, this foundation's ultra-light and hydrating formula keeps my skin looking fresh until I leave work. The staying power is pretty good for oily skin types like mine. Highly recommend as a winter base foundation! Note: Since I have oily skin, those with dry skin might find it less hydrating. It has decent longevity for oily skin types, and I highly recommend it as a winter base foundation.
