It has a classic soap scent and is affordable, making it a great go-to body wash! The body emulsion from the same line is similar. If you're a fan of that traditional soap fragrance, you'll absolutely love this! The formula isn't too drying, so it's perfect for those with dry skin. There's not really anything to complain about! When I first used it, it produced a rich lather without much irritation. The pleasant scent made for a satisfying experience overall. The strong fragrance might be polarizing. After switching to this product, I experienced some blemishes, so I had to stop using it for now. Even if everything else is satisfactory, if it causes skin issues, it's unusable. Balanced moisture and cleansing While it's not overly moisturizing, this body wash seems to strike a good balance between hydration and cleansing effectiveness. I recently switched to Dove, but it was too drying. That's when I realized how hydrating Lavie actually was! Value for money Sometimes it feels wasteful to splurge on body wash, so I appreciate the reasonable price point of this one. Scent To be honest, I'm not 100% satisfied with the fragrance. I expected a soft, powdery scent, but it turned out to be a sharper cotton aroma than anticipated. However, others have complimented the scent. Lather Since I don't use any special tools, it's really frustrating when a body wash doesn't lather well. Lavie produces a decent amount of foam! Slight gelling in winter In my apartment, the bathroom isn't heated. During winter, the product tends to clump together like jelly and becomes a bit slippery. This made it somewhat challenging to work up a lather. When I first used it, I loved the scent. It even filled the bathroom with a pleasant aroma. I'd recommend this to those who prioritize fragrance. While it was nice at first, from the second use onwards, my whole body started tingling and itching. I usually have combination skin that's not very sensitive, but this made me realize what it means to feel a stinging dryness. Now I always apply a body emulsion after using it. Without it, the tingling and itching keep me awake at night. On days when I can't apply the emulsion, the irritation continues even into the next day. Thanks to this experience, I've joined Hwahae to find a new product to replace this one. I wouldn't recommend this unless you're someone who regularly moisturizes after showering.

While the fragrance and cleansing experience feel gentle, the ingredients list doesn't quite match that mildness. The scent is subtle and only noticeable during washing, which might be a hit or miss depending on personal preference.
