First off, I absolutely love how sleek and beautiful the packaging is! It gives off such a luxurious vibe, and the fragrance is equally sophisticated - a lovely rose scent that lifts my mood every time I apply it. The scent is truly exceptional! Both the packaging and the fragrance make me want to use it as a diffuser. As for the texture, it's a bit more viscous than a watery toner. This gives it a slightly bouncy finish when applied, which is perfect for my dry skin and leaves me very satisfied! I haven't used it extensively yet, so I can't really comment on its brightening effectiveness at this point. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2020
Currently, my skin is: • Super sensitive • Prone to severe redness • Dehydrated and dry 1. Texture: A water-based formula with a slight viscosity 2. Scent: A cool, floral fragrance 3. Pros: Unlike some lightweight toners that evaporate quickly, this product's slight viscosity helps maintain hydration over time, despite being water-based. It has a non-sticky finish that feels fresh, with a slight cooling effect that's quite pleasant. As someone with notoriously sensitive skin, I often struggle to find products that don't cause reactions, even when they have good ingredients. However, after using this for a week, I noticed my skin became clearer without any breakouts! (I later discovered it has zero cautionary ingredients, which made me trust it even more.) I have severely dehydrated, dry skin that usually doesn't retain moisture well or show any glow. However, when I use this as a second toner, it feels like it's deeply hydrating my skin from within and really locking in the moisture. (The more I apply, the more beautiful the Inner Glow becomes!) Despite being sensitive to fragrances and initially skeptical about the ginger extract, I ended up really enjoying the scent! 4. Cons: I've heard it also has brightening effects, but I haven't noticed any significant changes in my complexion yet. I might need to use it for a longer period to see results. 5. Tip: Soak a 5-layer cotton pad generously with the toner, place it on your skin, and leave it for about 5 minutes as a quick mask. This helps cool down your skin temperature and improves makeup application! This honest review was provided as a member of The Hwahae Testers. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 2, 2020
The Hwahae Testers Review My skin type: Super sensitive skin, combination dehydrated skin (generally dry but gets oily in certain areas over time), prone to long-lasting breakouts when environment changes Positives: 1. Both ingredients and user experience are gentle and non-irritating. I have sensitive skin and was worried it might be harsh since ginger is a main ingredient, but it was so mild I wouldn't have known it contained ginger if I hadn't been told. It felt very gentle and comfortable! 2. The scent is pleasant and neutral. I expected a sharp or strong fragrance, but it didn't have any particularly distinctive scent compared to other regular cosmetics! 3. Slightly viscous texture. It's more viscous than water-based products, so the hydration lasts a bit longer! 4. The product design is beautifully simple! It claims to have brightening effects, so I tried using it as a toner pack, but it was difficult to see any immediate brightening results from a single use. However, it was surprisingly soothing due to its hydrating properties! I used this after exfoliating with a BHA toner to remove dead skin cells first! The viscous toner seemed to calm and protect my skin that had been stimulated by the exfoliating pad.
