Pros
Among the affordable options, this is the most satisfactory for me. It has a non-sticky, moisturizing feel, and the color is natural, which is great for a bare-faced look. However, as someone with pale lips, while the initial application looks transparent and very pretty like the photos others have shared, if you keep layering it, it can start to take on more of an opaque, glossy lip color look. (Refer to the shared photos)
Cons
The packaging kind of looks like a toy... And without a mirror, it's a bit inconvenient to apply. Creating a formula like this in a lipstick form must be challenging... I couldn't find anything like this in the affordable range. I was surprised when I checked the ingredients after buying another color. 😢 If you keep layering it, the transparent, glossy effect does tend to disappear.
Tip
Applying it in a thin, one or two-layer application seems to look the prettiest.

Pros
My lips tend to be dry, so I have to apply a lip balm before using anything else, otherwise my lips will crack. But this product can be applied directly without any issues - it doesn't dry out my lips at all. It works great as a base, and looks beautiful when layered with other products. It also looks natural and pretty when worn on its own. And it doesn't easily rub off, even when I'm wearing a mask, which is really nice!
Cons
At first, you have to apply it carefully... It goes on strangely and wipes off easily. The color also stains my lips quickly, so even if I reapply, it doesn't look nice. And I find myself having to reapply it quite often, which is a bit of a downside.
Tip
If you apply it directly to your lips, it can look uneven and lose its glossy finish. It's better to blend it in with your fingertips. And if you add just a tiny bit of the Juicy Lasting Tint in Plum to the center of your lips, it really gives a gorgeous, trendy look.
