It gives my skin a slightly velvety feel with a bright finish. The color is perfect for use as a base, and its staying power is incredible. Even though my lips tend to have a lot of dead skin cells, I can wear this all day without any flaking. While it doesn't keep my lips moisturized, it doesn't make them look unsightly either, which I really appreciate. There's not much to complain about. If I had to say something, it does wear off when eating, but that's to be expected. After it's completely dry and you've confirmed it won't smudge, try applying a brighter shade on top. As someone with a light undertone, I've tried this. However, it might be a bit dark for those with muted tones, especially if you're like me and fall between cool and muted. For those in that category, it might be too dark. I'm using a small amount as a base. It tends to separate like yogurt and slightly sits on the skin. Unfortunately, it really emphasizes dead skin cells. Using this as a base and then applying Rom&nd's Bare Fig on top creates a stunning look.
