First off, it's gentle! It feels like the oil is well-blended, so there's definitely less eye irritation and it removes makeup effectively. As shown in the attached photo, I swatched lipstick on my hand and it disappears with just a few swipes. I keep reaching for this product as my go-to remover! I wear eye makeup often, so I use it almost daily, and it lasts longer than expected while removing makeup well. There's nothing particularly disappointing, but sometimes a large amount suddenly gushes out, so it would be nice if they improved the packaging in the future. I've gotten used to it now though! The product is great! Oh, and after using this product, I follow up with cleansing oil and foam cleanser. It seems you shouldn't rub your eyes with a cotton pad! Just place it on your eyes and gently wipe. For the eye membrane area, use a cotton swab. When I skip this product and only use cleansing oil out of laziness, I notice small sebum bumps appearing like styes. It's a product I've really grown fond of. - hd*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessMay 3, 2025
It's a gentle point remover with low oil content, making it great for removing eye and lip makeup. I don't use mascara, so I'm not sure about that, but it removes eyeliner effectively. Due to the nature of point removers, you need to apply it with a cotton pad, but the container is a bit inconvenient. I probably won't repurchase... - pi**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
This is my go-to eye makeup remover that I've been using consistently for a long time. I've stocked up since my current bottle is almost empty. It's really gentle on the eyes, fragrance-free, and not greasy at all, making it so comfortable to use. I've been using this since the earlier design, and I don't understand why they keep changing the packaging. This new design looks childish and unattractive.. - wh*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 15, 2025
It removes makeup effectively and provides a gentle cleansing experience. I really like it and would recommend it. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I highly recommend it. It's particularly good for removing eyeliner. - yz*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2025
It doesn't sting my eyes and feels gentle. It cleanses really well. The bottle is generously sized. There's nothing to complain about. I used to experience eye irritation before, but not anymore! - zx*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 10, 2025
It's literally a milk-type formula! Unlike most eye makeup removers that have an oil layer, the Skinfood Eye Remover is a milk type. This means it doesn't leave much oily residue after removing makeup, which is fantastic for preventing blemishes around the eyes and eyebrows. There's nothing to complain about. If you soak a cotton pad with the remover, gently place it on your lashes for a few seconds, and then wipe, it removes makeup effectively without any irritation. Here's a tip: Lightly dampen a cotton pad with water, squeeze out the excess, then generously apply the remover. This way, you can use the product efficiently while still getting proper makeup removal. - wl****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 2, 2025
I bought this product during a sale, having used it before its design revamp. True to my memory, it's still gentle and doesn't irritate my eyes. Since it's a daily-use item, I'm pleased with the generous volume - it's convenient not having to repurchase too frequently. The price is affordable too, so I'll likely buy it again when it's on sale. However, its cleansing effectiveness is somewhat lacking compared to other products. Even after pressing gently on my eyes for over 5 seconds, there are still traces of eyeliner between my eyebrows that aren't fully removed, requiring extra attention. I only wear light eye makeup without eyeshadow, yet I found the cleansing power disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this for those who wear heavy eye makeup. - se*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 2, 2025
I received it well. It seems great because it's affordable and gentle on the skin. I can't think of any downsides. I'm planning to stock up more when there's a sale! - so*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedFeb 24, 2025
The oil and water layers blend together for a gentle cleansing experience. It removes eye and lip makeup without irritation, and it's not overly rich, leaving your skin feeling refreshed after washing. Waterproof products don't come off cleanly in one go - you need to wipe a few extra times to remove them completely. Make sure to shake the bottle well before use to properly mix the layers. For best results, soak a cotton pad with the product, press it against your skin for about 5 seconds, then wipe. This method allows for less rubbing while effectively removing makeup. - di******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 22, 2025
1. Often included in sale items 2. The milk concept image is cute, and the slim side profile doesn't take up much space 3. The scent is similar to a typical remover but not overpowering 4. Helps with dead skin cell care when applied with a cotton pad 5. Removes makeup effectively & doesn't feel too oily, leaving skin relatively fresh Seems like a product with decent performance at a reasonable price! If you're looking for a cute and cost-effective product that works well, there's not much to complain about
