My makeup routine usually consists of sunscreen, foundation, and concealer (occasionally primer). I've been using the Blueberry Cleansing Water for over 10 bottles now. Let's talk about its cleansing effectiveness, which seems to be a hot topic. Personally, I find it works well! It's gentle yet removes all my makeup effectively. Just make sure not to skimp on the product or cotton pads! Although it's a no-rinse product, I always follow up with a double cleanse. I'm currently using Acnes Derma Relief foam cleanser, which is also great (personally, I wasn't a fan of the Blueberry foam cleanser from the same line). I tried switching to cleansing oil at one point, but it didn't suit me. So, I came back to this and have been using it happily. It hasn't caused any blemishes either!
ConsYour skin might feel dry after cleansing, so apply your skincare quickly. Don't expect it to exfoliate or provide any additional benefits beyond cleansing.
TipDon't be stingy with the product! Use it generously! Soak your cotton pads thoroughly for cleansing to minimize skin irritation. I use the blue embossed cotton pads from Olive Young, which are great. I layer 4-5 pads together, saturate them with cleansing water, and use that for cleansing. This way, even though you're using plenty of product on the pads, you'll actually use less cleansing water overall!

Instead, it feels like it's leaving a slight moisture barrier. There's a subtle hydrated feeling, as if a protective layer has been applied.
ConsUnfortunately, it seems to be causing some dead skin cells to appear on my lips. The moisturizing effect might just be a feeling... My lips don't usually have this issue. Also, it has a slightly sour smell. It's so strong that I wonder if it's gone bad. I understand it's because there are no added fragrances, but it's a bit disappointing.
TipThe blueberry line is almost always excluded from sales, so don't wait for a discount. Just go ahead and buy it whenever you want. By the way, Innisfree's cleansing-specific cotton pads are really great. I've stocked up on various types of cotton pads, and the cleansing ones turned out to be an unexpected holy grail item.

Highly recommended for sensitive skin as part of your morning cleansing routine!
ConsThose with oily skin might find this product less effective at removing excess sebum.

It's also quite affordable.
ConsHowever, this product is extremely drying. It makes my skin flake as if I've had a chemical peel. At first, it seemed fine, but the more I used it, the more it irritated my skin. I suspect the lavender might be causing the reaction, so I'm planning to stop using it for now.

Great for touch-ups too, since you don't need to rinse with water.
ConsIt can cause dead skin cells to flake and doesn't remove foundation well. Stings if it gets in your eyes.

It has good cleansing effectiveness and comes at an affordable price.
ConsIt's not very hydrating. I feel a slight irritation when using it. The dead skin cells around wounds become quite noticeable. However, I didn't experience any blemishes.

This is the first cleansing water I've used that didn't lead to breakouts the next day.
ConsAfter using it, my skin feels very dry and tight. You need to replenish moisture right away, otherwise dead skin cells start to build up.
TipIf you follow up this cleansing water with a gentle soap wash, then apply a hydrating toner and moisturizer, your skin won't feel dry and you'll achieve a good balance of oil and moisture.

ConsIt stings terribly if it gets in your eyes and makes them feel dry. For those with dermatitis, it severely exacerbates dead skin cells and dryness. Even with frequent mist application, there's still a lingering tight feeling. The pump bottle is also inconvenient. I can't understand why it irritates my eyes so much despite having gentle ingredients.

I'm on my second bottle now - it's lightweight and leaves my skin feeling clean.
ConsAs someone with combination dehydrated skin, I find this water-based formula very drying after use. If I don't follow up with intense hydration, my makeup looks patchy the next day and I get visible dead skin cells... sigh.

My skin tends to be oily and shiny in summer, but becomes dry everywhere except around my nose from early fall. It's also quite sensitive to seasonal changes. I used this cleansing water followed by the foam cleanser from the same line all summer, which suited me well. However, lately I've been experiencing severe dryness, so I've switched to a cleansing milk. Rather than providing a thorough cleanse, this product is gentle and requires multiple applications to completely remove makeup. While the product itself is mild, I feel there might be slight irritation during the cleansing process.
ConsIf it gets in your eyes, it stings so badly that it's hard to open them. I'm not sure why this happens. Also, I wouldn't recommend this for people with a lot of sebum or dead skin cells on their nose. I really noticed the difference when I switched to a cleansing milk. The cleansing water just doesn't seem effective at dissolving sebum.
TipApply it gently to a cotton pad and use soft, repeated motions to remove makeup.
