It's fairly gentle, and if you saturate a cotton pad well enough, it removes makeup easily without much effort. If too much is left on the skin, it can cause a slight tingling sensation. It's perfect for cleansing when you've only applied a gentle, lightweight sunscreen. It feels light and refreshing. It effectively removes sunscreen-level products. The quantity is generous, and it's a great buy when on sale at drugstores. It struggles to remove heavy makeup. Things like mascara don't come off easily with this cleanser. A lifesaver for my skin since college days, especially after a night of drinking. It's perfect for those lazy moments. Just soak a cotton pad and wipe away - it even gently exfoliates dead skin cells! For combination dehydrated skin, it can be a bit drying after use. Hydration is needed. Also, it barely removes mascara... Being a cleansing water, it's easier to use than cleansing oil. I could simply apply it to a cotton pad and remove makeup, which was convenient on days when I felt lazy about my skincare routine. The fragrance was a bit strong for my liking and didn't seem particularly gentle. The cleansing effectiveness was also weaker compared to oil, so I still had to use a separate oil cleanser for point makeup to feel thoroughly clean. For makeup removal, I use it with a cotton pad, and for daily cleansing, I just use it like water. I thought I'd go through it quickly because it looks like water, but the amount is really generous! As someone with super sensitive skin, I found this product gentle and non-irritating, which worked really well for me. A friend gifted it to me, and I was skeptical at first, but I ended up loving it! The cleansing effectiveness is great too - it removed my makeup thoroughly. I definitely recommend it! While there's the slight inconvenience of having to use cotton pads due to the nature of cleansing water, apart from that, I think this product is really excellent!

This is the only cleansing water that doesn't sting my eyes! It cleanses effectively and didn't cause any blemishes. The price...? However, the large volume means it will last for a long time.
