I've been using this product consistently since my baby was born. We use it most often during seasonal changes and in winter. I apply it to dry patches, mix it with emulsions or creams, and even put it on my child before bedtime. Being an oil, it leaves the skin looking shiny and healthy after application. The only downside is that it leaves oil marks wherever the child sits or their skin touches. Every time I try to quickly apply it to my child, something comes up! While the dropper format allows you to use just a few drops as needed, it takes too much time. Not to mention how many times I've spilled it - such a waste! I wish it had a pump dispenser instead. - lo*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedAug 3, 2022
Here's my review as someone with dry skin type! My skin is so dry that even after applying emulsion, it still feels parched. I even feel dry after applying cream! I remembered having a good experience with the Botanic cream before, so I decided to purchase this. The texture is quite fluid. The lid has a dropper, but product tends to get stuck around the cap, so you need to clean it occasionally, which can be a bit inconvenient. After massaging it about 30 times and then patting it in, I was surprised that there was no stickiness at all! It's not overly rich either, so I think it would suit even those with super sensitive skin. I wish it came in a pump bottle option instead of just the dropper! When used together with a cream, it's perfect for someone with extremely dry skin like me. - se*****Normal SkinRecommendedSep 27, 2021
It's fragrance-free and doesn't feel overly slippery. Even if it gets into your eyes, it doesn't seem to cause discomfort. Since it's a foam type, you end up using more product than necessary. Other than that, there don't seem to be any particular drawbacks. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 30, 2021
As an oil, it's naturally slick, but after application it doesn't stay greasy - instead, it leaves your skin feeling wonderfully hydrated. It's perfect for baby massages... And with its gentle ingredients, you can use it with confidence! I'm currently mixing it with an emulsion, and it definitely helps maintain moisture levels for longer. The scent is a bit disappointing. It has a grassy smell which... well, it's not really my cup of tea. That's a shame. I'm applying it mixed with an emulsion in a 6:4 ratio. - sa*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2021
I've been using this as a gift, and it's been wonderful! Before even checking the ingredients, I decided to try it on my baby's very dry skin. After a week, I noticed the moisturizing effect was much better and longer-lasting compared to using just an emulsion. I was so impressed that I came to write a review, and I'm thrilled to see the ingredients are fantastic too! The texture isn't heavy, and it absorbs so smoothly into the skin. The dropper packaging has been a bit of a challenge. I've accidentally spilled the product more than once when I couldn't close it properly after use. It would be great if they could change the packaging design - that's my only complaint. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2021
The fragrance is lovely. It spreads easily, making it perfect for winter hydration. When applied to baby's skin after a bath, it leaves it feeling soft and smooth. The dropper doesn't work well. I wish the volume was larger for the price. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedJan 21, 2021
I've been applying this along with an emulsion on my baby's body. I give gentle massages too! It's perfect for hydration, especially during these dry times. While I'm really satisfied with the product, I think it would be even better if it had a pump. The current packaging is a bit inconvenient. - lu********Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJan 14, 2021
As someone with extremely dry skin, I stumbled upon this oil during my quest for hydration. I was initially concerned that being a product for children, it might not be moisturizing enough, but it turned out to be surprisingly effective. The volume-to-price ratio is excellent, offering great value for money. It's perfect for mixing with emulsions or creams that need a bit of a hydration boost. Considering the generous amount you get for the price, I honestly can't find any downsides. - mm********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 4, 2021
✔️Ingredients I love all the ingredients in Botanical Therapy! I'm using the emulsion, soothing gel, cream, and oil - they're all great. It's wonderful that they don't use artificial fragrances. ✔️Lightweight formula I thought the oil would be heavy and sticky after application, but it's surprisingly light. My little one has dry skin, so we always use oil. I think this would be fine even in summer. I sometimes apply it to my face when I'm dry, and it doesn't cause any blemishes. ✔️Application/Absorption It applies smoothly and absorbs quickly for an oil. ✔️Dropper bottle I apply it to my baby after bath time, but the dropper gets oil all over the bottle. It sometimes spills when knocked over. I wish it had a pump like Primavera. Also, when it's about 1/4 full, it becomes hard to pump out the product. ✔️Emulsion + Oil After my baby's bath, I mix the emulsion and oil before applying. It spreads better and keeps the skin hydrated longer. My little one developed nummular eczema, which worried me, but it disappeared after frequent application of this combination. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinDec 25, 2020
Although it's an oil, it doesn't feel too slippery and absorbs well into the skin. When mixed with cream, it seems to absorb even better. My second child has very dry skin that gets rough and bumpy, but after applying this, those issues disappear. I've been applying it twice a day. The glass container and dropper are major drawbacks. It might be fine if I were the only one using it, but with a toddler around, it's problematic. Kids never sit still. They might throw the oil bottle, chew on the dropper, and if it somehow opens, it spills immediately. When I'm trying to apply it to both my first and second child in the same space, it becomes doubly difficult as I'm juggling between applying, cleaning up, and hiding it. If the packaging doesn't change, I won't be repurchasing.
