Pros
Great for managing dead skin cells. After use, my skin feels smooth and my pores seem tighter!

Pros
It typically dries within about 20 minutes, and what's unique is that it's a peel-off mask applied after your entire skincare routine. After generously applying all your products including cream, when you peel it off, it effectively removes dead skin cells, leaving your skin smooth. I use it well about once a week when I need to exfoliate.
Cons
Be careful not to apply it on your eyebrows as it can pull them out when peeling. It's a bit disappointing that it has a strong herbal scent.

Pros
I used to have dry skin with no visible pores, but as I've gotten older, I've started noticing pores appearing between my eyebrows and in the T-zone. Even sebum began to accumulate... sigh. I tried a couple of bottles of this clay mask when I was younger, but I didn't really appreciate its benefits then. Using it now that I'm older, I can see why Sulwhasoo is so renowned. After using the mask, my skin texture feels smoother and my complexion looks brighter. What's particularly thrilling is seeing the tiny sebum plugs from between my eyebrows being extracted - the satisfaction is no joke! I've always been frugal with skincare, sticking to drugstore brands, but now I'm starting to research Sulwhasoo's basic essence line. My poor wallet!
Cons
This might be irritating for those with super sensitive skin when removing the mask. Some say it's less irritating if you apply an emulsion before use, but I wanted to really clear out my pores, so I just applied it right after toning my skin.

Pros
This peel-off mask has a honey-like texture that applies evenly whether you use your hands or a tool. It's gentle on sensitive skin too! There's a slight tingling sensation if you apply it around the eyes, but it's brief and not irritating. What's amazing is that after using this peel-off mask, your skin feels as moisturized as if you've exfoliated and used a hydrating mask. It leaves your skin so smooth that makeup applies beautifully the next day. It's perfect to use the night before an important event!
Cons
It takes some time to dry, and while it's good at removing small whiteheads and sebum, those looking for powerful effects like a nose strip might find it a bit weak. Think of it more as a gentle way to refine your skin texture.

Pros
Skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with severe deep dryness and sensitivity I used a sample from my mom's vanity when I was in high school, and I've tried it again recently. To be honest, I'm not impressed. However, it definitely improves skin texture. After use, my rough skin becomes soft and smooth, which I liked. It also seems effective on blackheads. I think it would be good for people with large, sagging pores.
Cons
Unfortunately, there were too many downsides for me. First, it's irritating. Waiting 20-30 minutes for it to dry and then peeling it off is such a hassle. It's painfully pulling out all the peach fuzz, and it doesn't come off cleanly - you have to wash it off with water, which is also inconvenient. Applying it is uncomfortable too, it's all sticky and tacky. The strong herbal scent was also overwhelming. I won't be purchasing the full-size product.

Pros
After using, my complexion feels brighter and more even. It seems to exfoliate dead skin cells effectively. My skin becomes smoother. Although it's a peel-off type, it leaves my skin feeling hydrated afterwards.
Cons
The texture is quite thick, making it challenging to apply evenly. If applied too thinly, it seems less effective, but if too thick, it doesn't dry well. Uneven application makes it difficult to peel off cleanly. As it dries, my cheeks feel dry and tight. Being a peel-off type, I'm slightly concerned about skin irritation, especially for my dry skin when removing it. The price is a bit steep.
Tip
While the effects are good, the slightly irritating sensation makes frequent use a bit concerning. It might be best to use occasionally and follow up with plenty of hydration afterwards.

Pros
After using it, even fine hairs are removed, leaving your skin incredibly smooth. It even eliminates dead skin cells completely!
Cons
The price is way too high. Even considering it's a luxury brand, it's still too expensive... It has a distinct fragrance that some people love and others hate.

Pros
This peel-off mask is quite intense, so I'm hesitant to use it frequently, but it's definitely addictive. With my sensitive and thin skin, even using it once a month feels incredibly stimulating. However, after masking, my skin feels incredibly soft, and it seems to deep-clean my pores in a way that exfoliating toners can't achieve. That's why I find myself reaching for it occasionally! After a deep cleanse and skincare routine, I apply a very thin layer and peel it off after it's completely dry, usually in about 10-20 minutes. If you apply it without doing your skincare first, it can definitely sting and hurt when peeling off. It removes some peach fuzz, cleans out pores on the nose and chin, and exfoliates dead skin cells, making makeup application smoother. For those who find it suitable, this could be their holy grail product!
Cons
The traditional herbal scent is quite strong - I think it could have been a bit milder. The scent lingers even after use, which is a bit much for me. Also, peeling it off can be painful! My skin might be extra sensitive, but it leaves a burning sensation for quite a while, which is why I've deducted a star.
Tip
If you buy Sulwhasoo from a department store, they give you tons of samples!

Pros
It peels off smoothly when dry, giving a satisfying feeling. After use, you can definitely feel the dead skin cells and sebum have been removed, resulting in a brighter complexion and softer skin texture. The herbal scent is a personal preference, but I personally enjoyed it.
Cons
It takes a really long time to dry, and the texture is surprisingly thick, making it difficult to apply evenly on the skin. If it gets stuck under your nails, it's quite annoying. My skin doesn't usually need much exfoliation, so this level of effectiveness was satisfactory for me. However, those who regularly exfoliate might not be satisfied with this... (Considering the price and brand name, the product's performance is somewhat disappointing)
Tip
I recommend applying oil or serum before using this mask. It improves absorption and reduces irritation when peeling off. You need to let it dry for what seems like an unusually long time, but this makes it easier to remove. Be careful if you have long nails - it can get stuck and be really frustrating to remove, potentially leaving residue like dirt under your nails.
