Pros
It feels like a lighter version of a modeling mask! There's this oddly satisfying sensation when peeling it off that keeps me coming back for more. I love how it clears away fine hairs and impurities, and the herbal scent isn't as strong as before, so I'm just enjoying its subtle fragrance... After all, getting rid of peach fuzz, dead skin cells, and excess sebum helps prevent blemishes and makes makeup go on smoother, right? The fact that it takes care of all that in one go is great, and being able to lie down while it's on is just... so wonderful!
Cons
You need to apply it a bit generously for easy removal! And... while the price point might be a bit steep, it's still a product I find myself using consistently!
Tip
I find it works best when applied after a warm shower when pores are open, following up with a first essence. It really helps with removing sebum and dead skin cells! If you want to maximize the effects of a modeling mask, try applying a thick layer of ampoules and creams underneath. The mask helps these products absorb deeply into the skin, with the added bonus of peeling off smoothly!

Pros
I squeezed out some blackheads and did something I shouldn't have, but this mask even pulled out the blackheads! Haha! My friend highly recommended this, so I bought it. It's supposed to remove skin impurities and dead skin cells, so I gave it a try~~~ It has a distinct herbal scent and is surprisingly thick, so you need to apply it carefully! Use plenty! After it dries, you can peel it off. Here's a pro tip: I applied it after using a sebum dissolver and cleansing, and it worked like a charm! For best results, try using it when your skin is warm, after applying a sebum softener, or when your skin's oil production is balanced - not too dry or too oily.
Cons
It's a bit tricky to apply due to its thick consistency, but it definitely feels different from the collagen masks that are popular these days. Collagen masks are more about infusing collagen and essence, like a peel-off mask. This one removes impurities and dead skin cells, and since it's an herbal mask, it contains traditional ingredients, giving it a unique feel. I'd recommend this for a different skincare experience!

Pros
It's incredibly thick and sticky, but not to an unpleasant degree, in my opinion. Unlike other peel-off masks that often left my skin feeling dry, the Sulwhasoo Herbal Clay Purifying Mask surprisingly doesn't have that effect, which I really appreciate. It does an excellent job of removing dead skin cells and excess sebum, leaving your skin as soft and smooth as a baby's. What I love most is that even when applied thinly, it peels off cleanly and in one piece without leaving a mess!
Cons
The sweet herbal scent might be polarizing for some. Since Sulwhasoo often includes this product as a gratis gift with purchases, I highly recommend trying a sample before committing to the full-size product.
Tip
For best results, apply this mask after completing your regular skincare routine!

Pros
I love that it's a peel-off mask that effectively removes dead skin cells and sebum. Once it's completely dry, you can peel it off cleanly. It dries quickly if you apply a thin layer.
Cons
The herbal scent is overwhelmingly strong. Wearing the mask for 20 minutes gives me a headache due to the intense fragrance.

Pros
It really pulls out sebum and dead skin cells. When your face feels rough, using this once makes it feel so refreshed. I even used it on my husband's back and the amount of sebum was incredible... It's too gross to post a picture. After just one use, he said his back felt smooth.
Cons
For a peel-off mask, it's quite pricey. I used it generously since I got it as a gift, but if I had paid for it myself, I don't think I could have been so liberal with it.

The directional application is so soothing, it even calms my mind. Being a peel-off type, it naturally removes dead skin cells and stubborn sebum, leaving my complexion looking clearer and brighter.
Cons
While it does remove dead skin cells and occasionally clears out sebum, it can be quite drying. You'll need to follow up quickly with hydration.
