First off, the scent is lovely.. I can't stop sniffing it! This emulsion really excels at its job as an emulsion.

Cons

It's not particularly outstanding for hydration. It's not like 'I'll give you all the moisture you need!' but more of a 'Sometimes it just feels nice' kind of thing. When you actually apply it, it does make you feel good....

Tip

I initially bought this product from the official website because it seemed to have a bit of a reputation for being good for atopic skin. The packaging has changed now, but I'm not sure if it's been reformulated. First off, it's quite thin - slightly more watery than a typical emulsion, like someone added a few drops of water to it. Because of this, it doesn't leave a heavy feeling, which I appreciate as I'm not a fan of thick textures.

Cons

I'm not sure if it just doesn't suit me, but I felt a burning sensation when I applied it to my face. When my skin was particularly sensitive, it even stung... After that, I figured it wasn't right for me, so I've been using it only on my body. For body use, it's just okay, nothing special. It doesn't seem to provide much hydration. Rather than feeling moisturizing, it's more like a light layer you'd apply after toner. You'd need to follow up with additional cream or essence. When my skin was feeling hot and dry, this actually made it feel more dehydrated and trapped the heat, making my skin feel even more parched and uncomfortable.

Pros

It was great because it was moisturizing and non-irritating. The watery formula with a lot of moisture is absorbed without any stickiness. I'm using it satisfactorily as a daily lotion in the summer. It absorbs well and leaves almost no residue on the skin, so it's really great to apply before makeup.

Cons

In the winter, this alone may not be enough for hydration. Compared to a similar fragrance-free lotion like Illiyoon Ceramide, this product is much lighter and has less oiliness.

Tip

I keep it in the bathroom and apply it right after cleansing.

Even for my oily skin, it doesn't feel stuffy. It's a texture that dry-skinned and oily-skinned people will both enjoy. *Suitable oil content for dry-skinned, oily-skinned, and year-round use. *The scent is subtle, and the ingredients are good. *The tube packaging is hygienic, and there's a generous amount of product to apply liberally.
