First off, the scent is lovely.. I can't stop sniffing it! This emulsion really excels at its job as an emulsion. It's not particularly outstanding for hydration. It's not like 'I'll give you all the moisture you need!' but more of a 'Sometimes it just feels nice' kind of thing. When you actually apply it, it does make you feel good.... For better hydration, I'd recommend using the cream from this series too! Alternatively, you could try applying the emulsion, letting it absorb, and then layering on a bit more. - al*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinNov 8, 2024
I initially bought this product from the official website because it seemed to have a bit of a reputation for being good for atopic skin. The packaging has changed now, but I'm not sure if it's been reformulated. First off, it's quite thin - slightly more watery than a typical emulsion, like someone added a few drops of water to it. Because of this, it doesn't leave a heavy feeling, which I appreciate as I'm not a fan of thick textures. I'm not sure if it just doesn't suit me, but I felt a burning sensation when I applied it to my face. When my skin was particularly sensitive, it even stung... After that, I figured it wasn't right for me, so I've been using it only on my body. For body use, it's just okay, nothing special. It doesn't seem to provide much hydration. Rather than feeling moisturizing, it's more like a light layer you'd apply after toner. You'd need to follow up with additional cream or essence. When my skin was feeling hot and dry, this actually made it feel more dehydrated and trapped the heat, making my skin feel even more parched and uncomfortable. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 26, 2023
It's great for dry skin. No breakouts either! Keeps my skin well-hydrated even in the cold winter months. Didn't notice much difference. The quantity is generous... But aside from being a bit pricey, Highly recommended for those with dry, very dry, or acne-prone skin - zl******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedJul 10, 2023
I love how moisturizing and gentle this is on my skin. The formula is light and watery, absorbing quickly without leaving any greasy residue. It's become my go-to daily emulsion for summer, and I'm really satisfied with it. The absorption is so good that it leaves almost no trace on the skin, making it perfect to apply before makeup. I think this might not provide enough hydration on its own during winter. Compared to similar fragrance-free emulsions like the Illiyoon Ceramide one, this product is much lighter and less rich in oils. I keep it in my bathroom and apply it immediately after cleansing my face. - op*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 24, 2023
It doesn't seem to cause acne. It's quite gentle. I have very sensitive skin, but I'm using this because it doesn't cause any blemishes. It's a bit rich and heavy, so you shouldn't apply too much... It's a bit tricky. I'd recommend this more for those with dry skin rather than oily skin. - km*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 22, 2023
I tried this since it was available at the dermatologist's office and ended up buying it because it's gentle, absorbs well, and isn't heavy. The texture is light and applies smoothly. These days, many creams feel like emulsions and vice versa, but this has a perfect texture between a soothing gel and a cream - exactly like an emulsion! Even with my oily skin, it doesn't feel suffocating. The formula is great for combination dehydrated skin and oily skin types. It has just the right amount of richness for combination dehydrated and oily skin (suitable for use all year round). The scent is subtle, and the ingredients are good quality. The tube packaging is hygienic, and there's plenty of product so you can apply it generously. Be cautious if you have allergies, as it contains aromatic oils which may trigger reactions. Check the ingredients list for any components you're sensitive to. I'm not sure about its effectiveness in calming redness. It's not particularly lightweight and has more oil than expected, so those with oily or combination dehydrated skin might need to adjust the amount used during summer days or use it as night care instead. As someone who likes to apply products generously, I find it unsuitable for daytime use in summer. It should be fine to use in other seasons. Those with very oily skin might need to use just a light toner and apply this emulsion sparingly. For those with very dry or dry skin who find this alone insufficient, try mixing in a drop or two of facial oil or use it alongside your daily moisturizer! - rd*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 21, 2022
Perfect for applying to dry cheeks with combination skin. I never used emulsions before, but I think I'll be using this for a long time. They asked for more than 20 characters, but I have nothing bad to say. I just love it too much! For those with oily T-zone and dry U-zone, apply this to your U-zone. It's seriously amazing! - ks*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 1, 2022
After trying various skincare products, I've finally settled on this one. While I can't say it's absolutely amazing, I'm still using it daily as part of my routine. Since I have super sensitive skin and a thin skin barrier, it seems controlling the amount I use is crucial. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2021
It absorbs lightly, feels moisturizing, and is gentle on the skin, which I love. The product also comes in a generous size. It seems like it doesn't retain hydration for very long. Also, it's quite expensive. - hh*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 27, 2021
Just a gentle, mild emulsion haha... It provides good hydration. No major advantages though. I wanted to use it as an all-in-one for my face too, but it didn't suit my skin well. Just because something's gentle doesn't mean it'll work for everyone, haha!
