It's affordable and easily available at Daiso, which is great. I haven't used it for long, but I'm hopeful it'll be good. As someone with a dry scalp, I haven't found any downsides yet. I'll keep using it to see how it goes. No special tips, just make sure to rinse thoroughly since it's shampoo, right? - ch******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMay 7, 2024
I noticed my hair was falling out more than usual, so I started looking into anti-hair loss shampoos. After seeing positive reviews on blogs, I decided to give this one a try. What's more, it was reportedly recognized in a government-certified study as a shampoo that actually helps with hair loss. I had high hopes for it. However, in the end, this product turned out to be one of the worst shampoos I've ever used in my life. There's really nothing positive to say about it. First off, the cleansing power is terrible for a shampoo. It feels more like I've washed my hair with conditioner rather than shampoo. As a result, my scalp feels congested, gets oily quickly, and makes me want to wash my hair again. Despite containing ginseng extract and whatnot, a shampoo should leave your hair feeling clean, but this one leaves me feeling grimy after just half a day. (For reference, I don't have an oily scalp.) The scent isn't herbal; it's more like old-fashioned cosmetics, reminiscent of vintage Evas shampoo. In any case, I can't tell if it's preventing hair loss, but my scalp feels itchy and greasy, begging for another wash. Since many people seem to like it, maybe it just doesn't suit me. I guess I'll use the rest for cleaning the bathroom. Well, I'm not sure if there are any positives. I'd like to know if there are any. For me, it was so disappointing that I ended up using it as a cleaning product. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinRecommendedAug 11, 2021
This shampoo is truly amazing! Back in high school, I was incredibly stressed because my crown area was thinning, possibly due to lack of sleep. I've tried every anti-hair loss soap and shampoo out there. Natural hair loss soaps seemed good at first, but they eventually made my hair stiff and dry, causing my scalp to produce even more oil. My hair would get greasy within half a day, and the stiffness caused tangling and more hair loss. Anti-hair loss shampoos were less drying, but still caused itching and oiliness. I couldn't bear using them long-term and didn't see much improvement in hair loss. When I tried this shampoo, despite being for hair loss, it didn't dry out my hair or make it greasy. It didn't cause itching and had great cleansing effectiveness. The scent is slightly ginseng-like, which I grew to love - it's addictively appealing compared to other shampoos. It's not artificial, but uniquely captivating. I often find myself sniffing my hair! Most importantly, it doesn't cause itching or dryness, and I lose less hair than with other shampoos. After years of use, the thinning on my crown has almost completely filled in. When I switch to other shampoos, I really notice how good this one is. I've been using it exclusively for years, even taking small amounts on trips. I hope it never gets discontinued as more people discover how great it is! I recently purchased this shampoo, and I noticed a change. It used to have a herbal, ginseng-like scent, but now there seems to be an added baby powder fragrance. As a regular user, I noticed it immediately. I'm worried it might have been reformulated. The texture feels a bit softer too, making me wonder if they've added something new. These are just my observations. While it's not bad yet, I much preferred the original scent. I really hope they haven't changed the ingredients. I wish it could stay the same as before. For best results, use a small amount mixed with a little water to create a lather. Then massage it into your scalp before washing your hair. I've heard this method works much better than applying the shampoo directly to your scalp. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 13, 2021
I absolutely adore this product! I've been using it for 4 years straight since 2017. I initially bought it for hair loss concerns, and it's definitely reduced shedding. I used to wash my hair daily due to oily scalp, but since using this, I only wash every other day unless it's summer. Despite less frequent washing, my hair doesn't feel overly dry or stiff afterwards. I've been enthusiastically recommending it to all my friends. It's truly the best! There are no downsides. When you buy it from Coupang, it's great value for money and effectively tackles both hair loss and oiliness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedJul 11, 2021
Lathers well Excellent cleansing effectiveness Pleasant scent Affordable price After checking on Hwahae, it seems the ingredients aren't particularly impressive. - ft********Dehydrated SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJul 8, 2021
I can't imagine washing my hair without this! I've been using it for years. My hair tends to get really greasy, but with other shampoos, it feels even more tangled! I've tried other 'oily hair' shampoos, but they just made my scalp feel cold (cooling effect) without reducing the greasiness - it actually made the tangles worse! This one, though, effectively removes oil without being harsh. It's so moisturizing that I don't even need conditioner - my hair feels great! I accidentally bought a different purple shampoo with the same name today, and my hair got so greasy that I realized how precious this shampoo is. That's why I came to Hwahae to write this review. My hair is still greasy even after washing it twice... I hope this shampoo gets delivered soon! The scent isn't particularly great. It has a subtle ginseng smell, not too overpowering. If anyone knows a shampoo with similar cleansing effectiveness but a better fragrance, please recommend it! But I think the effectiveness might be due to the ginseng... so I guess I'm stuck with it. If you have an oily scalp, you must try this! The cleansing effectiveness is amazing! Especially recommended for those looking for an oily hair shampoo without a cooling effect. - Hwahae UserOily SkinRecommendedMay 5, 2021
After using this, I noticed a significant decrease in hair loss while washing and drying my hair It doesn't seem to effectively control scalp odor for someone like me who works outdoors - my********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2021
I used this shampoo a lot around 2018. It had some kind of approval or certification, which is why I tried it. I must have gone through several bottles. I personally liked it. Unlike typical anti-hair loss shampoos that often have an unpleasant scent and poor lather, this one foamed up nicely and didn't leave any residue. I really enjoyed it. The fragrance was refreshingly pleasant too. It's one of those products I sometimes think about using again. It's a memorable one for sure. The ingredients aren't particularly great, unfortunately. I had hoped they would be better. I didn't have any issues while using it though. I'm not settled on just one shampoo and tend to try different ones, but I did use this one the most. Right now I'm using Moa Gel, but I'm feeling the urge to try something different. Always remember to let the lather sit for a bit after working it up! Making sure you massage it thoroughly into every nook and cranny seems to be key for the best results. - do******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 7, 2021
The scent is definitely pleasant, and it produces less foam. I feel like I'm losing less hair when using this shampoo. Since it's winter, my hair was getting tangled and I noticed significant hair loss after growing it out. I bought this based on recommendations, and I'm quite satisfied with the results. It seems to be working hard to keep my hair healthy. I don't have any complaints since it's noticeably reducing hair loss. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinNov 3, 2020
For an anti-hair loss shampoo, it lathers well and has a pleasant scent. I've been using it for over two weeks, but the amount of hair falling out hasn't decreased.
