My skin type is combination, with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, and I occasionally get blemishes on my forehead and cheeks. ๐ It's not drying. I usually feel dryness right after cleansing and need to apply a lotion, but with this essence, I walked around for over 10 minutes without feeling much dryness at all. ๐ It has a honey-like, viscous texture. I like sticky essences. Somehow, I feel like they blend better with a hydrating lotion afterwards. So I prefer a sticky essence over a watery one, and this essence fits that preference. ๐ It's almost fragrance-free. I thought it might have a mushroom scent since it contains a lot of mushroom extract, but luckily, there's no distinct fragrance. ๐Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this essence and will continue using it. After about a week of use, I haven't noticed significant improvement in dryness yet, which is understandable since it's not a medication. But I think this essence would be great for dry-skinned people to use in the winter. I'll keep using it well.
Cons๐ The downside is the application and feel. As a highly concentrated, sticky essence, it leaves a slightly tacky and heavy feeling on the skin. And since my skin is sensitive, I sometimes feel a slight itchiness after using certain products, including this one. However, it didn't cause any redness or breakouts.

When I applied it in the evening and woke up in the morning, I felt like it was well-absorbed without any dryness. Since it has a filling sensation, my skin feels bouncy and the texture has become softer. The formula is similar to a heavy ampoule, so it's not immediately absorbed when you apply it, but I think this would be good to use on its own in the summer.
ConsAs you might expect... I wouldn't recommend this to people with atopic dermatitis. But for healthy skin areas, it worked well, so just keep that in mind. I tried applying it around my lips, on my neck where I have small atopic areas, and on the crease of my arm where I also have atopic skin, and it stung and itched. (My skin has been conditioned to use products with minimal ingredients for over 10 years.)
TipOne pump dispenses a generous amount, so it covers the face and neck fully. But because of that, the absorption is a bit slow. If you lightly apply it to your hands and arms first, and then go back to your face, the absorption is much better. Then when you apply a lotion on top, the base layer really builds up nicely!
