My skin type is combination, with an oily T-zone and dry cheeks, and I occasionally get blemishes on my forehead and cheeks. ๐ It's not drying. I usually feel dryness right after cleansing and need to apply a lotion, but with this essence, I walked around for over 10 minutes without feeling much dryness at all. ๐ It has a honey-like, viscous texture. I like sticky essences. Somehow, I feel like they blend better with a hydrating lotion afterwards. So I prefer a sticky essence over a watery one, and this essence fits that preference. ๐ It's almost fragrance-free. I thought it might have a mushroom scent since it contains a lot of mushroom extract, but luckily, there's no distinct fragrance. ๐Overall, I'm quite satisfied with this essence and will continue using it. After about a week of use, I haven't noticed significant improvement in dryness yet, which is understandable since it's not a medication. But I think this essence would be great for dry-skinned people to use in the winter. I'll keep using it well.
Cons๐ The downside is the application and feel. As a highly concentrated, sticky essence, it leaves a slightly tacky and heavy feeling on the skin. And since my skin is sensitive, I sometimes feel a slight itchiness after using certain products, including this one. However, it didn't cause any redness or breakouts.

If I use something and it doesn't agree with me right away, I get itchy and red blemishes or pimples popping up, so I was both worried and hopeful when I tried this. The application was good! It had a slightly thick, creamy texture, but it was still hydrating and felt moisturizing. It had a honey-like feel, so it wasn't a watery consistency, but it was still fine. As for absorption, since my skin tends to absorb quickly, it didn't seem to have the best absorption - it dried down in about a minute. But since it wasn't a water-based formula, that may be why the absorption wasn't super fast. I'm not sure about the long-term moisturizing, but it had a nice, creamy texture and decent absorption, so I found that layering it 3-4 times and finishing with a cream worked really well for me!
ConsThere's not really anything I disliked. If I had to nitpick, maybe the volume is a bit small for the price. And it could potentially feel a bit heavy or occlusive.
TipI found that layering it 3-4 times, rather than just using one layer, helps it become more creamy and hydrating!

In the winter, when it gets dry, I get trouble in the T-zone area. *I thought I was a dropper type, but I was glad to find out I'm a pumping type. (Personally, I think the dropper type is unsanitary...dust gets in when you keep taking it out and putting it back in.) *Compared to a regular serum, the texture is more dense and bouncy. I was worried it might feel sticky, but there was no such feeling at all. It has a glowing effect. (It feels like a highly moisturizing and nourishing ampoule!) *It seems more nourishing than the essence I was using before, so I only needed to use about two-thirds of the usual amount. (The 'highly moisturizing and nourishing' description is accurate!) And I also reduced the amount of cream I used after the serum by half. (It was so moisturizing that I only needed to use a little cream. But since I've become slightly drier in the recent winter, I've had to use a bit more cream.) *After using it for a week, I'm glad that no troublesome breakouts occurred. (It doesn't have 20 caution ingredients or allergy-causing ingredients, but I was a bit worried because it's so nourishing. I'm relieved that it worked well for me!)
Cons*On the first day, the cream felt a bit heavy when I applied it... So the next day, I used a different cream, and it was fine. It seems the cream and serum I used on the first day didn't work well together. (Both creams had a similar texture, so I'm not sure what the difference was.) *Since it's highly moisturizing and nourishing, I think it might feel too heavy for me in the summer if I use it. It worked great for me in the fall and winter. *I wish the size was bigger!
TipIf you're looking for a highly moisturizing and nourishing serum, I recommend this one! I'd recommend it to those with dry skin.

That's the kind of feeling I get. I'm glad the fragrance is almost non-existent. โฃ๏ธIngredients I have sensitive skin, so products with heavy formulas or irritating ingredients usually cause breakouts or skin irritation. At first, I was worried the formula might be too heavy, but while it doesn't absorb as quickly as a water-based serum, it doesn't just sit on the surface either. I've been using it for my morning and evening skincare routine since I received it.
ConsSome people might find the honey-like texture a bit heavy or slow to absorb.
TipIt seems this product is better suited for nighttime use rather than morning. Don't be too heavy-handed - about one to one and a half pumps should do the trick! I recommend gently patting it into the skin.
