Coverage: 5/5 Adherence: 5/5 Absorbs: 5/5 I've been using this product for about 12 years. When it was discontinued, I was genuinely devastated. Having to write about downsides... Well, I've always known it contains many potentially harmful ingredients, but seeing the details on this app makes me think I should have been in heaven long ago. No worries though! Unless you have skin as fair as Taeyeon's, you should use this for a natural look to avoid a floating face effect. You need to control the amount well, and I recommend using a damp beauty sponge. If you think it's expensive, try the bulk sponges sold at Olive Young. Use those, replacing them every 5-10 days with a new one. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 30, 2021
It absorbs really well! I love how it seems to make my skin look more radiant! I haven't noticed any downsides yet. I'll update my review after using it more. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 14, 2020
The coverage is amazing! It hides my blemishes and acne really well. The application is smooth and it doesn't cake up. I'm currently using my fourth tube - that's how much I love it! It's a bit thick, which is typical for BB creams. While the thickness is slightly disappointing, the excellent coverage makes up for it. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAug 20, 2020
This product seems to absorb incredibly smoothly. It has a slightly yellowish tint, so it might be better suited for those with a healthy complexion rather than those with very fair skin. For me, it had too much of an ashy undertone, so I had to mix it with other products to make it work. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJul 18, 2020
First off, the absorption is really great. It applies smoothly and evenly, even when you just use your hands! The coverage is impressive too. I have a lot of redness on my cheeks, visible pores, and blemishes that stand out against my fair skin, but this BB cream covers and conceals them well. As a student, it's perfect for daily use when I don't want to bother with cushions or foundations. Since I started using this, my boyfriend has said my skin looks amazing, and even my friends have complimented how good my complexion looks! It's not ideal for summer use. I have combination dehydrated skin, and it definitely loses its staying power when it's hot or I'm sweating. That's why I mainly use it in fall, winter, and spring. If you apply your skincare well, it looks much less drying and healthier than foundation. On days when I'm sitting for exams or out all day (12+ hours), it can get oily and rub off or leave finger marks. But then again, almost all makeup comes off after 12+ hours anyway! It applies smoothly even if you just use one serum beforehand. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJul 13, 2020
The coverage, adherence, and application are truly outstanding. I've been using this for 14 years, from age 13 to 27. Even when I got bored and wanted to switch to something else... I couldn't find a BB cream that compares to Magic Cover. I can't live without it... It's hard for me to find any downsides... The staying power is great, and it doesn't cause blemishes... Isn't that good enough? - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 14, 2020
If you have redness-prone skin and usually use shade 23, this product in shade 21 works well. It provides good coverage with a small amount, absorbs well, feels powdery and firm without drying out the skin. Overall, it's a solid, decent BB cream. It's like a foundation-like BB cream with good coverage. The staying power and transfer resistance are also impressive. If you typically use shade 21 or lighter, this product's shade 21 might be too dark. The pump dispenser gets dirty easily, and it's tricky to control the amount when you first start using it. For beginners, considering coverage and texture, I'd recommend this product or Missha's red BB cream. If coverage isn't a priority and you're looking for a BB cream that enhances skin texture or is gentle, I'd suggest trying Klairs. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinJan 9, 2020
It absorbs well and feels moisturizing. Just a small amount spreads easily, making it suitable for men to use too. As long as you choose the right shade for your complexion and apply it properly, I don't think you'll find any drawbacks. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinNov 28, 2019
It's moisturizing and absorbs well. It truly lives up to its name. It covers skin imperfections flawlessly. For my dry skin, it's an absolute perfect match! I have sensitive cheeks due to redness, but I'm satisfied as it causes almost no blemishes! Even when layered, it doesn't pill, so I really can't find any downsides. I apply this after using Atoderm as my base skincare! It goes on very smoothly. It works great with BB cream too! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 17, 2019
Honestly, I don't think anything can match its coverage. It applies smoothly, leaving the skin feeling moisturized and firm. Ever since I first tried it, I've been using this exclusively. I'm still using it, but... Before I developed blemishes, it applied nicely and kept my skin hydrated. However, after getting blemishes, it feels a bit heavy when I apply it, and it seems to make my blemishes worse. If you're prone to blemishes, you might want to think twice about using this.
