  I bought this hoping for brightening effects, but oh my... it didn't seem to do much at all. I'm a bit puzzled why it has so many reviews. The one slight positive is that when applied to the face, it subtly and naturally brightens the complexion. However, if you stop using it even briefly, your skin tone reverts back. When used on underarms, there's a very slight brightening effect, but compared to a whitening body wash, it's much more natural-looking. You'd have to look closely to notice any difference. Unless you're planning to repurchase consistently, you might be better off buying a brightening moisturizer instead.

  After using it for nearly two months, I'm disappointed that I didn't see any significant results. And it's quite expensive too...
