I received this as a gift and tried it out. It absorbs smoothly and seems effective in preventing stretch marks. The twist-off cap design means it's always a mess with oil, which is disappointing. - tq********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 21, 2025
While it doesn't feel particularly lightweight, it absorbs well, so I don't get the sensation of it transferring onto my clothes after application. Being an oil, you need to use quite a bit each time, and it's not exactly cheap. - re******Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2025
This is an incredibly rich oil. I'm using it for pregnancy stretch marks and I absolutely love it. Because it's so rich, you need to wash your hands right after applying. Also, if you move around, the oil tends to get on various surfaces. - e-****Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 9, 2025
Applying Clarins oil after a shower feels absolutely amazing, and I love how the fragrance lingers. It's fantastic for managing stretch marks, so I highly recommend it, especially for pregnant women. I accidentally dropped the lid once, and it completely broke. I wish the lid was a bit more durable. - ja******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 30, 2025
Great for preventing stretch marks. A popular choice among expectant mothers. The price is quite steep, making it difficult to use liberally. Mixing it with other products helps it last longer. - ch********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessJan 13, 2025
I received this as a gift for my pregnancy and have been using it. Since I have dry skin, I'm applying it extra carefully to prevent stretch marks. It absorbs well and quickly. I know it's a product commonly used by pregnant women for stretch mark prevention. (Although the price is quite wicked) The amount isn't small. 1. Looking at the product description, it doesn't seem specifically designed for pregnant women (not explicitly stated for pregnancy stretch marks). It feels like they're just using it as a marketing tactic. Products from brands like Atopalm and Illiyoon actually specify they're for stretch mark prevention and indicate where they're effective. However, since moisturizing helps prevent stretch marks, it's not entirely fair to say it has no effect. In reality, stretch marks are hormonal, so while these products can help, it's hard to say they have an absolute impact. 2. It's extremely expensive. In terms of value for money, there seem to be many better alternatives available domestically. 3. There are five potentially allergenic ingredients, which makes me question why one should use this product at all. While I'm grateful for receiving this expensive, high-end department store product as a gift and used it appreciatively, if I had to spend my own money, I'd probably choose a different product. Apply it right after showering while your skin is still damp. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin hydrated. After that, gently pat dry with a towel and then layer on a stretch mark prevention emulsion. - dm****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 3, 2024
While it feels a bit heavy at first, it absorbs well and spreads easily when massaged into the skin The fragrance is luxurious, but as I'm sensitive to scents right now, I wish it were unscented. A pump dispenser would be better for controlling the amount, but unfortunately it doesn't have one - ki******Combination SkinAcne SkinApr 6, 2024
Although it's an oil, it's less sticky and absorbs well The fragrance is so strong it makes me wonder if it's safe for pregnant women. I thought I heard the ingredients were good, but I was surprised to find there are quite a few to be cautious about. I'm using it as a gift, but I probably wouldn't buy it at full price - gg******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 10, 2024
The scent is initially strong but quickly dissipates, leaving a refreshing feeling. It's excellent as a body oil. It doesn't spread easily, so you need to apply it on damp skin or mix it with a cream, which can be inconvenient. For reapplication, try mixing a small amount with your body cream! - hw***********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresFeb 9, 2024
I've been consistently applying this oil for stretch mark prevention. It feels like it provides great hydration. Personally, I prefer fruity scents over aromatherapy ones, but I don't really like this fragrance, so I don't reach for it often. It's also on the pricier side.
