I love that it comes with a ziplock bag for storage! The patches seem to blend in well, so they're not very noticeable. You typically apply these micropatches on emerging blemishes before bed or on pimples that have come to a head, right? But no matter when I used them, the results were underwhelming... When I removed the patch, there was some discharge, but I never once experienced any calming effect or disappearance of blemishes! Also, the outer edge of the patch feels sticky. The product includes a convenient storage solution, which is a nice touch. While the patches are relatively discreet, their effectiveness in treating blemishes seems questionable. Despite drawing out some fluid, they don't appear to significantly reduce or heal breakouts. The sticky exterior of the patches may also be bothersome for some users. - hi*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJan 25, 2025
When I bought this product, it was the most affordable among needle patches and had decent effectiveness, so I expected it to create quite a sensation. Since a needle patch with 10 pieces for 3,000 won was released at a certain store, I haven't repurchased this one. If only it could become a bit cheaper... - ki********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedDec 30, 2024
If you apply it when you see a reddish spot in the first photo, just before a blemish appears, it prevents the blemish from forming! I check for blemishes in the mirror every day after washing my face, and applying it at that stage was most effective. Since my blemishes tend to leave long-lasting marks or scars (especially if I squeeze them), I use these patches to avoid squeezing. This product works best when applied before the blemish fully develops. It doesn't seem to be as effective on blemishes that have already developed, unless they're at the point of being ready to burst (like the blemish in the second photo). Unlike hydrocolloid patches, these don't leave a white mark from absorbing fluid when you remove them. Apply it when you're unsure if a blemish will form, or when you feel one coming on! - yu******Dehydrated SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 16, 2024
I've bought this product countless times. It's the most effective one out there. You can use it anytime - on those hard, painful pimples, on blemishes where you can feel inflammation deep down, or after popping a pimple. Just stick it on and press firmly. The pain? It only lasts about 5 seconds. When you're bothered by one or two blemishes, apply these patches for two days, then move straight to treating any marks left behind. I've tried many other products, but this one is the best in terms of price, effectiveness, and everything else. The needles are large and adhere well. However, they come off easily when washing your face, so they don't damage your skin. Pro tip: Buy these when there's a 1+1 deal at Olive Young - that's when they're the cheapest! It would be nice if they offered packages with more than just two patches. - pm********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedDec 1, 2024
I bought this because I was so annoyed by a huge blemish on the side of my cheek. My skin tends to spread breakouts when one appears... ugh! Although these hydrocolloid patches were pricey, they're worth every penny. When I stick one on before bed, I wake up to find the big blemish significantly reduced in size. Highly recommended for emergency skin care! The adhesive isn't very strong, so they tend to fall off easily... Make sure to clean your skin thoroughly before applying. Also, the price is quite steep - I'd suggest waiting for a sale to purchase. - li*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 26, 2024
This patch is definitely much more effective on hard, non-squeezable blemishes compared to other patches. When those stubborn spots appear, they're such a headache, but this patch has been a real lifesaver for me. It's a bit awkward to go out with this patch on as it's quite noticeable. Also, it seems a bit pricey. Unless it's on sale, the cost can be a bit burdensome. Instead of trying to squeeze those non-squeezable blemishes, try applying Acne-n (I think that's the name) from the pharmacy. Let it absorb fully, then stick on this blemish patch before going to bed. You should see some positive results. - ye******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 3, 2024
I've tried various acne patches and different microneedle patches, but this one takes the cake. It's the most effective product I've used. After wearing it for a few days, you'll see improvement. In my experience, it seems to work a bit better on mature blemishes rather than newly formed ones. The price is quite steep. If you only have a few blemishes, you might be better off getting a couple of cortisone shots at a dermatology clinic for the same cost. However, if you're dealing with blemishes all over your face, using these patches could actually save you money compared to getting multiple injections. - ky******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedSep 6, 2024
When blemishes appear, using these patches with tiny needles is more effective than regular patches. They help calm the skin without causing additional damage, so I always keep them on hand. The downside is that about a day after opening, even if resealed, the patches seem to lose effectiveness due to air exposure. Also, the adhesion isn't great, which is a bit disappointing. - kb******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJun 7, 2024
The tiny needles make it feel like it's really doing something. While it doesn't magically zap away blemishes, it does have a calming effect on the skin. The results aren't as dramatic as I'd hoped. If there's even a hint of oil or moisture on your face, these patches don't stick well. They're also quite noticeable when applied. - so********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 30, 2024
It's great for quickly calming any blemishes when applied. I actually like the sensation of the micro-needles - you can really feel them working. The micro-needles can cause a slight tingling sensation when applied, so those with super sensitive skin might want to be cautious.
