This sulfur toner is more affordable compared to other brands, and I was able to use it without causing any blemishes or irritation to my skin. You need to shake it well before each use. The feel on the skin? The finish feels a bit heavy... It's like there's a white powdery residue that settles. How to describe it... It's almost like a spot powder feeling. The sulfur scent lingers subtly on the skin. - fl*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 23, 2025
It's incredibly effective for folliculitis. While the propolis serum didn't do much for me, this sulfur toner definitely tackles folliculitis head-on. It's extremely drying... While folliculitis does require drying out the skin to clear up, this is really dehydrating. You need to shake it well before each use. Using it as a toner pack enhances its effectiveness - de********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 3, 2025
I bought this product after researching solutions for folliculitis. After confirming through a Korean medicine clinic that sulfur ingredients would be suitable, I'm glad it worked well for me! Sulfur is said to be excellent for eliminating Demodex mites. While using it doesn't dramatically prevent all folliculitis, it does help quickly suppress newly formed blemishes. My face feels a bit dry when using this product. There are sulfur soaps and masks available too, but I'm only using this for now as I'm worried about increased dryness. It's recommended to shake the bottle 10 times before use! - yj*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 12, 2024
1. It helps dry out the skin 2. Effective for folliculitis Maybe because I used it when my skin was super sensitive, it caused a burning sensation. Also, the scent is quite unique but oddly addictive, haha! - ki*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 14, 2024
I saw real results for folliculitis - it's great! It's truly effective against folliculitis and excellent at controlling sebum. I got greedy and did a toner pack, which backfired... My skin is usually so thin that exfoliating immediately causes folliculitis. I think leaving on the sulfur toner pack damaged my skin barrier. - on*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 2, 2024
(Mildly acidic) The water-based zinc is said to be effective, and it really is! It's as good as a zinc ampoule! Being a toner-type product, it's great without solidifying or leaving a white cast. However, since it has a runny consistency, you need to be careful not to get it in your eyes. It's great for skin with folliculitis as it regulates excess oil without being too rich. <Points to note> Good for folliculitis, oil control, pores, and soothing Shake well at least 10 times Can be used as an exfoliating toner or skin pack Use within 6 months after opening If it accidentally gets in your eyes, it can solidify, so be careful. Since it's clear, I rinsed it out with eye drops and it was fine. The more you pat it on, the better the results - en***Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAug 8, 2023
I bought this toner because I heard sulfur works wonders for acne. When used as a skin pack, it has a soothing effect. My skin was breaking out, so I applied this only on my chin as a spot treatment, but it stings too much. I think it irritated my skin even more since I didn't use anything else. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 30, 2021
I bought this for my oily skin, hoping it would help my facial complexion. However, when I noticed the powder seemed to clog my nose pores, causing white sebum to surface, I stopped using it on my face. Not wanting to waste it, I decided to try it on my back acne. To my surprise, after a few days, my back blemishes visibly improved! As you get close to finishing the product, there's hardly any powder left, which weakens its effectiveness. It's unclear whether it's due to the high sulfur content or the powder itself, but it may cause some irritation or dryness. I recommend doing a patch test before regular use! Remember to always shake well before each application! - sr*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 21, 2021
Effective for acne-prone skin, sulfur works well, occasional seborrheic dermatitis flare-ups • Sulfur Love ♥ After realizing sulfur suits my skin, I bought sulfur soap, sulfur mask, and this sulfur toner from Sidmool You can see the sulfur powder settled at the bottom, so shake well before use • Reduces Itching When my face often itches, I always reach for this toner It feels refreshingly good when applied to itchy areas like around eyebrows, nasolabial folds, and sides of the nose • Mild Exfoliation Effect Instead of using a separate peeling gel, I apply Stridex or this sulfur toner on a cotton pad and gently wipe from the inside of my face outwards - dead skin cells come off! It's amazing • While I'm extremely satisfied, sulfur might not suit everyone, so patch testing is recommended • Due to its exfoliating effect, it's not an everyday toner, but I tend to use it almost daily • Those needing more hydration might find it slightly lacking - yj*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinMar 26, 2021
It wasn't irritating to my skin. Though I'm not entirely sure if there were any specific benefits... Extremely drying deep down: While it seems to reduce sebum and oiliness due to its ingredients, even taking that into account, it's far too drying. I wouldn't recommend this for those with combination dehydrated skin prone to blemishes like mine. Apply a hydrating moisturizer on top to minimize pilling.
