After trying this, I've been using it consistently for about a week, even when I bleach and dye my hair purple at home. I can't say it dramatically extends the life of my color, but it gives me peace of mind. I'm cautious about using just any shampoo for fear of hair loss, but thankfully, this hasn't caused any increased shedding or scalp issues. It's better than not using anything after an expensive dye job. At least I feel like I'm doing my best to maintain the color. If you have a sensitive scalp, apply this only to the lengths of your hair and use a different shampoo for your scalp. 
wh******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinNov 19, 2024As a professional beautician, I'd recommend using products from other brands if you're going to use anything. It doesn't neutralize color well. There's more of a blue tint than purple. The scent also reminds me of laundry detergent.

When I used this right after dyeing my hair ash, the color lasted about a month!! The product is a bit pricey, and eventually your hair does return to that bleached yellow color!! Still, using this purple shampoo seems to slow down the fading process compared to regular shampoo

The shampoo color is blue, and the foam is white. It doesn't leave any residue on hands or skin. I don't notice any change in my dyed hair, and it doesn't cover gray hair at all. The lightweight texture makes it easy to use. It leaves your hair feeling the least stiff compared to other products. The color-correcting effect is quite subtle... I thought it was just me, but apparently not. It might work well mixed with other color-correcting shampoos. That way, you'd get the best of both worlds, right? - Hwahae UserDry SkinJul 25, 2021
The lather is luxurious - it definitely produces much more foam compared to other color-protecting shampoos. That's about the only good thing I can say about it, though! It doesn't protect the color at all - people keep asking if I'm really using a color-protecting shampoo because there's no difference from before. The scent is overpowering - it smells like a typical neighborhood salon, which I personally dislike. Unfortunately, the fragrance lasts longer than expected, which was quite bothersome. Additionally, while it didn't maintain my hair color, I'm not sure if it's just my imagination, but after using it, my hair seems slightly darker than before in a strange way. The lather is pretty decent. It seems to foam up quite well. As for the scent, I can't really tell since my nose is stuffed up. Honestly, even one star feels too generous. I tried using it every 2-3 days, but there was absolutely no change in color. In fact, it seemed to emphasize the yellowish tones even more. After using it, my hair felt stiff and dry. Lathers up nicely No need for gloves Doesn't have a strange smell I had dyed roots and bleached the lower part about 4 times to almost white. It lathers up better than other purple shampoos! I haven't tried other purple shampoos to compare, but I didn't feel like it had any trouble creating a rich lather. I'm not sure if the color-correcting effect really works well... I've been using it consistently, but it doesn't seem like there's any difference from the initial color. I used it about 20 days after bleaching and dyeing my hair. It seems like you should use this right after bleaching or dyeing when the yellow tones start creeping in. Such a disappointing product... For best results, either pre-wash your hair or make sure it's damp but not too oily before using. This will help the shampoo lather up nicely.
