A solid, reliable product. I use it as a spray for my back. Since I started using it on my back, my bacne has cleared up. The price is also affordable on Coupang, sometimes on sale for around 8000 won. The ingredients list is rated 'green', so it seems to have good components overall. I don't have any particular complaints. However, if it doesn't suit someone's skin, it might cause blemishes! Here's my personal beauty hack: I spray it on my back. When applied to the back, it helps clear up back acne. - vv******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 16, 2025
✓Skin type: Dry to combination dehydrated (After cleansing: dry, After rinsing: combination, 2 hours after makeup: combination dehydrated) ✓(Purchased directly from Japan) ✓Texture: I was a bit worried when they said it was an emulsion (emulsions don't usually suit me, and I don't like the feeling of something floating between moisture and oil). But it's completely water-like! The last photo shows a small amount on my wrist - it drips like artificial tears (I only used a pea-sized amount since I don't have much left... haha) ✓Absorption: It absorbs well into the skin. However, if you use only a little once, it might absorb too quickly and feel like you haven't applied anything. So I apply it multiple times! (At this point, don't rub it in too much with your hands, just let it sit on your face) I apply once, wait a bit, layer it, wait again for it to absorb, then move on to the next skincare step. By then, it feels super hydrated even with just this product. ✓Application: It's lightweight like water! Not rich or oily at all, so I think even those with oily skin could use it comfortably! Of course, those with dry skin will need to layer on more skincare afterwards. As I layer it, I feel a slight slip, but it's never been an issue. ✓Blemishes: I've never experienced any blemishes from using this product. ✓Daily usage: I use it twice a day, morning and evening. Each time, I don't use a lot at once, but rather apply small amounts multiple times (3-4 skin method). Since I use it multiple times for layering, it runs out quickly. I'll need to stock up on the larger size... - It's great to use as a toner mask by soaking thin cotton pads and applying them to your face! - Try layering it multiple times! Apply, let it absorb, then repeat - those with dry to combination dehydrated skin like me might be satisfied with this method (but remember, results may vary for each individual). However, using it this way means it runs out faster... Repurchase intention: I'll definitely buy it again and again!! Highly recommended! - ls*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedMar 4, 2025
I used Hada Labo ampoule by chance about 4-5 years ago, and it was so good that I looked it up online... but it seemed to be discontinued. I thought it might be available in Japan, so I searched for it during my trip there, but couldn't find it. I used an image translator and bought something that looked similar as a refill, but it turned out to be the Light Emulsion, which I bought by mistake. I'm not sure about its hydration, and it seems more like a toner than an emulsion. That ampoule in the photo was really good, why isn't it available anymore? Many people use Torriden, and I have sensitive skin, so I used about 4 bottles of the mild Torriden. I didn't really feel the hydrating effects, so I've switched to something else now, but it was exactly like Torriden with added hydration. If any company representatives are reading this, please relaunch that product! Although it's called an emulsion, it doesn't seem to be a hydrating product. It might be good for people who dislike stickiness, residue on the face, or even slight moistness. When my face feels tight in the morning and I need to leave in a hurry, I just apply this, and the tightness goes away. - ch*****Oily SkinJan 10, 2025
Despite all the hype about its hydrating properties, as someone with combination dehydrated skin, I didn't find it particularly impressive. I had to layer it with a moisturizer and a sleeping pack to feel any real hydration. I bought it on sale, so I don't regret the purchase, but I won't be repurchasing. It doesn't feel deeply moisturizing, just seems to add a superficial layer of hydration. I don't have any specific tips to share. - km********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 29, 2024
After application, my face felt very firm, makeup adhered well, and there was no deep dryness If you don't let it absorb well or apply too much, it can clump up like dead skin cells after makeup It's best to apply it according to the instructions on the back of the product - sb*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 29, 2024
I accidentally ordered this instead of the Gokujyun emulsion, but it turned out to be surprisingly good, so I've repurchased it. While it might not provide enough hydration in winter, it's great for replenishing moisture in summer. The formula doesn't absorb immediately. If you apply too much, it can feel a bit sticky and requires patting several times to fully absorb. - le******Dehydrated SkinDark CirclesDead Skin CellsNov 6, 2023
I love how lightweight it is when applied. It's not very sticky, and you can even layer it two or three times without any issues. It's difficult to control the amount dispensed. The hydration level is underwhelming, and honestly, I can't really tell if it's nourishing. The way it absorbs is quite disappointing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2022
This emulsion feels like a toner, and while it might sit on the surface initially, the hydration does last for a long time. It takes a while to absorb and tends to sit on the skin. It also runs easily like a toner. - jw******Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 16, 2022
It absorbs completely, leaving your skin feeling soft and velvety. Highly recommended, especially for summer use! There are no real drawbacks to mention. I'm struggling to find any cons for this product. Strongly recommended for those with oily skin! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMar 20, 2022
I originally used the Gokujyun Emulsion, but tried this for a bit in summer. Unlike the emulsion, this has a water-like texture. Think of it as more of a toner. It's much less sticky than the original Gokujyun Emulsion. As expected with a water-like formula, it provided absolutely no hydration. Even after trying the 7-skin method, the hydration was still lacking.
