The cream is really not dry at all, it's full of moisture. The included spoon is great too, and the cost-effectiveness is the best.

It's so great.. I'm using it really well After washing my face, I just wipe it off quickly or pat it on, and it's so convenient. I don't like the sticky finish from toners, lotions, or creams, but there's none of that, so I'm really happy about it ㅠ It exfoliates well and my skin feels soft and smooth No breakouts, calms the skin, and lately I've been worried about the dryness in the winter It also helped reduce the dryness 👍👍👍

<Hwahae Trial Reviewer Review> I was originally using the Cynique More Simple Skin, Lotion, and Moist Facial Cream (on my second bottle). I was also really curious about the Essence Pads, and I'm so glad I got to try them! I only applied the cream, but I found that if I first absorbed the essence pads and then applied the cream, the moisture seemed to last a bit longer. With the cold winds lately and the irritation from wearing masks, my cheeks have been getting dry and flaky, but using these products has helped improve that. It feels like a daily mask pack! Daily mask packs aren't always easy, but with these pads, I can just place them on the dry areas, read a book, and the redness goes down and my skin feels so hydrated!
Cons
I think the pads being square-shaped would also be good. The cheeks, cheekbones, and chin are usually the driest areas, so a square shape would allow it to cover a slightly wider area. Since it's an essence formula, there may be a slightly sticky feeling.

This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review. First of all, the essence is packed with so much! The pads are incredibly soft and there is almost no skin irritation. Using it feels like gently wiping your face, and afterwards it leaves a light and refreshing feeling without any tightness or dryness, but with a deeply moisturized effect! These days, I've been running the heater in the office all day and wearing a mask, so my makeup has been cracking frequently, but after using this product, the makeup lifting has significantly reduced. I even brought the whole thing with me when I went on a business trip because I wanted to use it! I'm completely satisfied!! I will definitely repurchase once I finish this one.

The texture is similar to the Laneige Cream Skin. It has a slight oiliness, like a mixture of toner and cream, which provides a moisturizing feel. I have combination skin, with acne breakouts all over my face, oily T-zone, and severely dry cheeks and around my mouth, so I need to thoroughly moisturize in the winter. This product seems to work well for me in those situations. It would likely be good for dry skin types as well. The pad format is also easy to use. The package includes a spatula.

This is a Hwahae Trial Reviewer review! 👍 The best part was that it was moisturizing! I often felt a bit dry because I mainly use water-based skincare and dislike stickiness, but this product was not sticky at all while providing more moisture than my previous products. I would apply the pad for about 5 minutes every evening and just use a moisturizer, and my skin would still feel hydrated the next morning. 👍 It's great to use as a quick mask! I could just apply it to the areas I needed, like my cheeks or forehead, which was convenient. Regular masks can get hair stuck to them and be inconvenient to do daily, but these pads weren't too much trouble and were easy to use every day.

My skin is generally dry (my forehead is extremely dry, and my cheeks are sensitive). No matter how moisturizing and high-quality the products I use are, I still feel a tightening sensation, and my skin feels tight right after washing my face. However, when I placed this product in the bathroom and used it immediately after washing my face, it seemed to have quite good moisturizing power, just like the Laneige Cream Skin. ☝🏻 This is not a typical water toner, but rather a cream essence pad, so the overall moisture level was high. I just wiped with this and didn't feel any tightness even after a short while. It didn't dry out too much either, so using just this, the essence still felt moisturizing. ✌🏻 Not having to apply the toner directly was definitely more convenient. The absorbency was good, and the formula was just right - not too light or heavy. 👌🏻 My skin is thin and gets red easily when something rough touches it, but there was minimal irritation and no breakouts, which was great.

☝🏻 There is an internal clip, but it's a bit blunt, and the pads are too stuck together, so it's a bit difficult to peel them apart. When wiping my face, the pads can get dry. My skin is really sensitive and prone to dryness and acne, but this product has gentle ingredients. On days when my skin was very dry, I applied it like a face mask and it worked great - my makeup went on smoothly afterwards and I really liked it.
