Massaging well removes organic sunscreen or brightening moisturizer, but it's challenging to completely wash off mineral sunscreen or heavy makeup. Great to use after removing point makeup. 🍋 Hydration: ★★★★☆ Although I move straight to skincare after cleansing, my skin doesn't feel extremely tight or dry even after washing and blow-drying my hair. Despite the weather causing quick dryness lately, the hydration lasted relatively long. 🍋 Texture/Packaging: ★★★★★ It's a foam that's not too runny but has a nice bouncy texture. After mainly using squeeze tubes, this pump type feels hygienic and pleasant to use. 🍋 Scent: ★★☆☆☆ This is personal preference, but the fragrance is too similar to *ril lemon-scented dish soap... Since I'm currently using that scent, it was a bit disappointing. It cleanses well around the nose and ears during morning wash, even though my skin tends to be a bit oily then.

Let me start with an honest review. First off, I loved that this cleanser comes in a foam form, making it super easy to use! I've always been a fan of foam cleansers, so I really enjoyed using this one. The cap closes tightly, keeping everything nice and clean. While I can't speak to its cleansing power since I use cleansing water to remove makeup before this, I felt like it did a good job of washing away impurities. It reminds me a bit of Perfect Whip, which I used before. The difference is that Perfect Whip leaves your skin feeling tight right after drying, but this one doesn't. At first, I thought there was no tightness at all! But when I left my skin without applying toner and emulsion, I did feel some tightness. I guess that's normal for most products, so no big deal. Anyway, I remember feeling that 'mochi skin' effect - you know, where your skin feels soft on the outside but moist on the inside. I even bragged to my mom about how amazing it felt! Child: Oily skin & forehead blemishes / Me: Dry skin 1. Pumping: Extremely smooth and easy to pump. This makes it convenient for kids to use. 2. Ultra👍👍👍👍👍 Rich and soft foam! 3. Cleansing effectiveness: (Neither my child nor I wear much makeup) 1) Child: Cleanses well while leaving the skin soft afterward. 2) Me: As I have dry skin, I was a bit worried at first, but... The foam is soft, so +1. When rinsing, there's a slight squeaky-clean feeling, but it also feels moisturizing, so +1. After use, it's less tight than expected, so +1. My face has a slight sparkle✨ and glow, so +1. 4. Scent 1) Child: Likes the fragrance. 2) Me: To me, it smells a bit like bubblegum or flowers, which I think kids would find more appealing. 5. No need for a separate foam net or bubble maker. The cleansing effectiveness is impressive. Despite being a low pH product, it removes makeup as well as most primary cleansing foams. After use, the skin feels refreshingly clean and smooth. It's more pleasant than slippery low pH foam cleansers. The container is surprisingly large, so it might last a while. The fragrance is overpowering. From day one, I struggled to describe it - it's reminiscent of bathroom air freshener or bubblegum, with a sweet scent and hints of orange or citrus. I wish the scent was milder. Perhaps it's because I'm used to nearly unscented foam cleansers, but the strong fragrance was startling every time. The foam is light and fluffy rather than dense and creamy. Personally, this lightness made it feel less effective for deep cleansing, almost like using a watered-down cleansing foam. It wasn't my style (and the light foam kept getting into my nose while scrubbing... sigh). I noticed my skin felt slightly dry after use. My usual cleansing routine involves removing eye makeup with a remover, wiping off base makeup with cleansing pads, rinsing with warm water, then doing a first cleanse with an alkaline foam cleanser for thorough cleansing, followed by a second cleanse with a low pH foam cleanser. For this review, I used this product for both steps due to its good cleansing power. However, whether due to using only a low pH product or other factors affecting my skin, I noticed my skin texture became a bit rough. In conclusion, this cleanser might work best when alternated with other products or for regular, refreshing cleansing sessions.

I've heard that if your skin feels squeaky clean after washing, it means you've stripped away the beneficial skin barrier, which isn't good. Being a low pH cleanser, I didn't experience that squeaky feeling, but that doesn't mean it lacked cleansing effectiveness. I usually can't wear much makeup due to my blemishes, so I only apply sunscreen, and this cleanser removed it well without causing any irritation. For about a week after I started using it, I could visibly see my skin improving. I never thought a foam cleanser could improve my skin, so I was amazed at the difference in my skin condition before and after using this product! While I'm not sure about its effect on small bumps, it definitely calmed down my inflammatory acne. While I saw visible improvements in my skin for the first week, I'm not sure about the effects after that. First off, I have combination dehydrated skin with occasional blemishes. I'm also the type whose face turns red and gets irritated when using strong cleansers like the Japanese Perfect Whip. (There's always at least one blemish hanging around!) Please excuse any typos as I'm writing this in a hurry. (But I've covered everything important!) Due to COVID, I haven't been out much, so I can't comment on how well it removes makeup. When I first received this product, seeing 'for girls' written on it made me feel special - like it was made just for us women. I couldn't wait to try it! (Side note: It came beautifully wrapped with a ribbon, like a Christmas present! Seems like it would arrive intact even if ordered online.) Checking the Innermush website, I saw it's made with only green ingredients for teenagers and wasn't officially released yet. So I tried it with a mix of skepticism and excitement. After the first use, it didn't seem much different from other cleansing foams. But I loved how it came out as foam, saving time and creating a rich lather. By the third use, I could really feel a difference in my skin texture. It felt so soft and smooth! The uneven texture around my nose noticeably improved after 3-4 uses. I usually cleanse at night, and while the texture would return a bit by evening, it was much better than before using this product. I received this right before my time of the month when I usually break out, so I can't say if it helped with blemishes. (I'll update on this after my cycle.) People always told me I had good skin, but I felt a dramatic improvement with this product! Highly recommended for those with texture issues! There was a tiny bit of tightness after cleansing, but barely noticeable. It removed oil well and even slightly faded my stubborn blackheads. (I'll update if they improve more with continued use.) The scent is very mild, almost fragrance-free, so it should work for those sensitive to fragrances. It's been about 10 days since I received it as a Hwahae Tester, and I'm really satisfied. Being slightly acidic, it's very gentle on the skin! My complexion has brightened too. (My mom keeps saying my face looks brighter, though I'm not sure if it's from this or just resting more due to COVID.) The ingredients on the website seem trustworthy. I'd definitely repurchase if I had the money! (Being a student, I'm a bit short on cash...) The price...? But considering the ingredients, it seems like great value. However, it feels a bit contradictory to market it as a product for teenagers at this price point. Still, I think those with serious skin concerns would buy it regardless. I really didn't find any downsides to the product itself. Oh! The lid! If you look at the picture below, there's a transparent lid on top. It feels like it might break if opened too forcefully. One pump is enough for a full cleanse! (This was my first time using a foam cleanser that dispenses as foam, so I experimented a lot.) Oh! Everyone knows to open up your pores before cleansing, right?!
