As the weather starts to warm up, our pores tend to open, and blemishes can form in hard-to-reach areas where oil accumulates. I found that using this Centella Cica emulsion as a preventative measure works really well. Despite being highly moisturizing, it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a sticky finish. I usually get very dry and red skin after bathing, but after using this product post-shower, my skin felt much more soothed. Just one application provided sufficient hydration, which I really appreciated. (This is an honest review written after using the product received as an official Pure Foret 6th Generation Supporter.) After using it for 10 days, the reddish blemishes around my hands and knees have disappeared. The body emulsion itself seems gentle. It's such a mild formula that I never felt any irritation on my skin. First off, instead of purified water, it contains centella asiatica extract, along with aromatic oils and tea tree leaf oil. With so many natural ingredients, even those with super sensitive skin can use it with confidence. The texture is smooth, and there's absolutely no sticky feeling! I really appreciated that. It also seems to absorb well into the skin. After application, my skin definitely feels more hydrated and nourished. As autumn has set in, my skin had become quite dry, but using this body emulsion has improved it significantly. It contains tea tree leaf oil, so the scent is quite strong. If you dislike cosmetics with strong fragrances, I wouldn't recommend this. You can use it like a hand cream too! If you choose the wrong body emulsion, it can often leave you feeling sticky and uncomfortable, making you wonder if you even showered at all. But this one? It leaves your skin feeling incredibly fresh with absolutely no stickiness! The application is smooth and gentle. What's more, it's excellent at calming redness - truly impressive! The herbal scent is quite strong. I understand it's due to the ingredients, but I wish it had that characteristic fresh fragrance typical of body emulsions.
