I've been longing for a lavender blush with just the right amount of white undertone. Orchid Rumor was too bright and overwhelming, so I hesitantly ordered this one without any reviews. What a great find! I use it as a base and then add a deeper blush for accent, creating the perfect soft, plump cheeks. The color is absolutely adorable - I'll likely repurchase when I run out. Highly recommended for those with cool undertones! While there's quite a bit of excess powder, it's manageable if you use a brush and carefully control the amount applied. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedSep 20, 2023
As someone with a light undertone, this instantly brightens up my complexion and brings my face to life... It's absolutely gorgeous! There's nothing particularly bad about it, but it breaks so easily that I need to buy a new one... Such a shame! - ja**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMar 9, 2023
1. Clear and pure color When it's hot and my face flushes, it naturally turns this lovely berry shade. I tried this blush to match that natural glow. Usually, I only use warm-tone pink blushers, but after trying this lovely berry shade, I love how it gives me a clean and fresh look. Now I use it as my base blush every day. 2. Incredibly affordable at just around $3 1. The scent... It's that strong cosmetic fragrance you smell when someone wearing heavy makeup walks by. The scent is so intense, I'm worried it might transfer onto my clothes if I wear them even for a short time. 2. Why is the lid opaque? I wish it were transparent so we could see the color and amount of the product inside. When I use a dewy foundation, I skip the powder and apply the lovely berry shade broadly across my cheeks. The color isn't too intense, and its clear tone makes for a beautiful base. - km*****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 6, 2021
This is a cool pink blush with a strong white undertone. It seems to have a slight lavender tint as well. Compared to Holika Holika's Clean Pink, it has less saturation and more of a white base. When compared to Rom&nd's Strawberry Milk, this one is definitely cooler in tone. There's nothing particularly negative to mention... It's wonderfully bright and white. I love how it goes on like a fine powder. If you're looking for that fair, luminous look, this is an excellent choice. Honestly, there's nothing to complain about... Really, nothing at all! - tl*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 13, 2020
It's identical to Kim Hye-soo's legendary blush photo. Aside from Lavender's slightly powdery texture, there's no difference. The cool pink color is absolutely stunning without any redness: While it appears as a pale purple in the pan, it transforms into the perfect cool pink when applied to the face. I've always struggled with cool pink blushes turning red on my skin, but The SAEM has finally created the cool pink blush I've been dreaming of. It truly gives that ethereal, cool pink flush I've always imagined. It's genuinely beautiful. The color sits between lavender and cool pink, with enough lavender undertones to prevent any redness. The SAEM, known for their soft blushes, has outdone themselves. I need to stock up before it becomes popular and gets discontinued! The quality has definitely declined: Compared to The SAEM's previous Single Blush line's 'Orchid Rumor', the quality has noticeably decreased. It tends to settle into fine lines, clump a bit, emphasize pores, and doesn't adhere well to the skin, feeling dry and powdery. Overall, the blush feels dry and chalky. However, the unique color makes it worth dealing with the clumping and poor adhesion if you can manage it well. I'll definitely be purchasing it... Final thoughts: While I love the soft cool pink that doesn't turn red at all, the quality is poor. But it's such a rare color in the market that it's worth buying. If you're on the fence, I recommend giving it a try! Comparison with The SAEM Saemmul Single Blusher in Orchid Rumor from the Lavender line: Unlike Orchid Rumor, which adheres smoothly without settling into lines at an affordable price, Lavender feels somewhat powdery and tends to settle into wrinkles more noticeably. Comparison with The SAEM Saemmul Smile Bebe Blusher in Rose Pink, which has a similar pale color to Lavender: Rose Pink, which is even paler than in photos, has a similar quality to Lavender. However, Rose Pink clumps less and feels smoother. Lavender is indeed more powdery than Rose Pink.
