I must say, it definitely gives off a healthier glow compared to The Balm's! The base color isn't too flashy, but it provides a subtle, slightly darker glow than The Balm's. It's hard to describe exactly, but it blends beautifully with Korean skin tones and gives that coveted Inner Glow effect. Unlike powder highlighters that tend to disappear by evening, this cream formula stays luminous for much longer.
ConsSince it's a cream formula, it's a bit tricky to apply with a brush, so I've been using my fingers to warm it up and blend it in. This is a downside for me as I don't like getting makeup on my hands. Also, if you set your face too matte with powder, it can cause the cream to clump, so you need to be careful when applying your base around the highlighter areas. It's best to aim for a one-touch application to avoid buildup. Another thing to note is that if your hands aren't clean, it can affect both hygiene and color payoff, so make sure to apply with clean hands. Inevitably, using your fingers does leave visible usage marks on the product, altering its cream shape (it gets a bit messy).
TipConsidering the downsides mentioned above, you need to be careful when applying and try to blend it over a non-sticky base. While it's fine for small areas like above the lips, rubbing it on larger areas like the T-zone or forehead center can remove your foundation. For a more beautiful skin finish, try gently tapping to extend the glow instead of rubbing.

For contouring makeup, just apply it generously to your highlight areas and blend with a brush. You won't find such a beautiful glow at this price point... It's amazing! Use this with MAC Strobe Cream and you'll be a glowing goddess, like you've got your own personal radiance factory! - Perfect for a natural dewy look - Easy to apply with a brush for a quick, effortless application - Fantastic for contouring makeup Note: It may clump a bit if you rub it on your face too vigorously
ConsIt tends to pill when applied over foundation... But don't worry, there's a solution! Check out the pro tip below.
TipIf you want to apply it after foundation, try working it into a cushion puff first, then gently pat it onto your face. This method prevents pilling.

Applying this product directly to highlight areas can cause clumping, but here's a tip: First, apply it to the back of your hand, then mix the pink and orange shades together before applying to your cheeks. The color payoff is fantastic and it lasts really well!
ConsAlthough it's a stick format, the shimmer can clump if you don't apply it to the back of your hand first. The areas where you apply it on your face can become a bit dry, especially in winter.

I own highlighters from MAC Aurora and Laura Mercier, but this one is my go-to. It's not about that 'BAM! I'm wearing highlighter!' effect, but rather a subtle shimmer that's so appealing. In summer, I only apply it to my nose bridge and philtrum instead of all over, and I can confidently say it's my holy grail.
ConsIf you don't control the amount well in your hand, it can pill and clump when applied with foundation.
TipFor those who experience foundation coming off easily, don't swipe or rub it on. Instead, take a small amount on your fingertip and gently pat it onto your skin.

Just swipe it on and blend, and you get a subtle, beautiful shimmer that's not over the top.
ConsThe price isn't exactly budget-friendly, unfortunately. Also, if you apply too much, it can clump up a bit.
