This would be great as a highlighter to create a radiant complexion. It has a slight pink undertone. Being a creamy texture, it might cause pilling if applied after foundation. However, if you apply it after sunscreen and before foundation, the glow still shines through beautifully. Due to potential pilling, you need to apply it lightly after your base makeup. I recommend this for those who want to brighten their T-zone or darker areas of the face with a subtle glow. - vl******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 25, 2020
This product has three major advantages: 1. Natural look. The best feature of this product is how it creates a natural, translucent Inner Glow as if it were my own! I really dislike highlighters that scream 'Look at me!', but this one gives a beautiful radiance that looks like my skin is naturally glowing. I even feel comfortable wearing it when I'm bare-faced. I can't recommend this enough! I've never been so impressed with a highlighter before. I love it so much I want to buy them all! 2. Quantity. The amount you get is incredible - it's going to last forever! I bought it a month ago, and it still looks untouched. This completely eliminates any concerns about the price. I think it'll easily last 2 years, maybe even 3-4 years. 3. Ingredients. As someone with super sensitive skin that reacts badly to even slightly questionable ingredients, I struggle to find products I can use. But this one has such good ingredients that I experienced no blemishes at all! Usually, when I find something with great ingredients, I'm disappointed in other aspects. But this product is perfect in every way! If you have skin concerns, please give this a try! If you apply too much on your face, it might feel a bit rich, so use it sparingly. And while it might seem expensive, remember you're getting a lot of product! Apply it thinly with a light touch using your fingers under the eyes, on the forehead, nose tip, cheekbones, chin, and above the lips. Here's a real pro tip: put some in a small lip balm container. It's super convenient! Use a clean, sterilized knife to cut a portion and place it in the container. This way, you can use the product in the container primarily, which is more hygienic and practical. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedNov 14, 2020
It's convenient and lasts a long time, considering the generous amount you get for the price. The effect looks natural. Well, sometimes it's hard to tell if it's on or not. There are times when I can't distinguish whether I've applied it or not, so I need to check carefully in good lighting when doing my makeup. That's how it is for me! - lo******Combination SkinEnlarged PoresDec 14, 2019
There's nothing good to say. I bought this trusting NARS because I like the brand, but it's completely disappointing. Baby NARS... While I generally love NARS products, this one misses the mark. When applied over makeup, it pills terribly. No matter how you try to apply it, it's beyond salvaging. If it were a drugstore product, I might be more forgiving, but at this price point... Good heavens! The best tip is not to buy it at all. - ra********Combination SkinSensitive SkinSep 25, 2019
If you're looking for a subtle Inner Glow and luminous finish, I highly recommend this product. It applies naturally all over the face and works great as a highlighter on cheekbones, under the brows, and down the nose bridge. The creamy texture makes it smooth and easy to blend. The texture might be a bit too soft - almost to the point of being mushy. And the price? Whew, it's quite steep! While you get a good amount of product, its softness can be an issue. Sometimes it comes out of the stick packaging, so you end up applying it with your fingers. It would be better if the texture was moderately soft but with a bit more staying power. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJun 4, 2019
Easy to carry around. It gives a natural, healthy glow rather than an artificial shine. I bought this hoping to quickly swipe it on, but when applied over base makeup, it pills and smudges everything off - it's a disaster! The color is too intense, so I can't even use it on my collarbones or legs. It's just sitting there unused. - he*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 6, 2018
Personally, I'm not a fan of overly dewy skin, but Copacabana gives a subtle glow that's not excessive and looks beautiful. I apply a tiny amount by gently rubbing with my fingertip on my forehead, bridge of the nose, and above the lips in one touch, which I think contributes to the subtle luminosity. If you dislike even a subtle glow, this might not be for you since it doesn't give that obvious 'I'm wearing highlighter' look. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMar 22, 2018
I'm using this as a highlighter. You might think the shade isn't bright enough for a highlighter, but once applied, it gives off this beautifully subtle glow that's just perfect! NARS... I really wish they'd change their packaging material. The matte black finish gets so easily scuffed during makeup application, in your makeup bag, and just about everywhere. Even after one use, it starts looking like an expired product. Such a shame! - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinFeb 26, 2018
The stick format makes it convenient to use. The glow isn't excessive. It comes in a generous amount. To be honest, I'm writing this review to mention the drawbacks. At first, the glow was so subtle that I kept reapplying, and I almost ended up looking like a futuristic being. There's about 1g of a cyber-like tint to it... Just apply it once and you're good to go... - af******Dry SkinDec 7, 2017
I had only used The Balm's highlighter before, but while I was at NARS, an employee recommended this one, saying it would make my skin look great. I must say, it definitely gives off a healthier glow compared to The Balm's! The base color isn't too flashy, but it provides a subtle, slightly darker glow than The Balm's. It's hard to describe exactly, but it blends beautifully with Korean skin tones and gives that coveted Inner Glow effect. Unlike powder highlighters that tend to disappear by evening, this cream formula stays luminous for much longer. Since it's a cream formula, it's a bit tricky to apply with a brush, so I've been using my fingers to warm it up and blend it in. This is a downside for me as I don't like getting makeup on my hands. Also, if you set your face too matte with powder, it can cause the cream to clump, so you need to be careful when applying your base around the highlighter areas. It's best to aim for a one-touch application to avoid buildup. Another thing to note is that if your hands aren't clean, it can affect both hygiene and color payoff, so make sure to apply with clean hands. Inevitably, using your fingers does leave visible usage marks on the product, altering its cream shape (it gets a bit messy). Considering the downsides mentioned above, you need to be careful when applying and try to blend it over a non-sticky base. While it's fine for small areas like above the lips, rubbing it on larger areas like the T-zone or forehead center can remove your foundation. For a more beautiful skin finish, try gently tapping to extend the glow instead of rubbing.
