It's particularly effective for improving my skin barrier, which is why I use various propolis products. The Honey Royal Lactin Ampoule has a high concentration of propolis extract, listed as the first ingredient. It contains 64% extract. Among all the propolis ampoules I've used, this one absorbs exceptionally well. It leaves the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. The fragrance is absolutely delightful. While propolis products often have strong scents that can be polarizing, this one has a pleasant floral aroma.
ConsThere's nothing particularly negative to mention. You can't complete your entire skincare routine with just this, so you'll need to apply a cream afterward. It's a great ampoule for seasonal transitions.

It has a slightly viscous, rich texture. The oil and moisture balance feels well-adjusted - I think those with combination to dry skin would really like this. Thanks to the honey ingredient, it's incredibly hydrating with decent moisturizing power. I thought it might be sticky, but surprisingly it absorbs well. It has quite a strong honey scent, which can be a bit much sometimes, but it's also pleasantly sweet.
ConsThe product itself is really great... The texture, how it absorbs, and its hydrating power are all truly excellent. However, honey and propolis don't agree with my skin, so it made me feel itchy when I applied it. My mother tried it and said it was moisturizing and nice though.
TipTest if honey or propolis ingredients suit your skin before purchasing.

While honey-infused products often feel thick and sticky, this one is surprisingly lightweight while still being hydrating. However, using a moisturizer after this serum is a must. 2) Hydration It's a holy grail item for combating deep dryness. When I only used toner, emulsion, and cream, I'd get a superficial glow that faded quickly, leaving my skin feeling dry within hours. But pairing this with a cream gives a different kind of glow that lasts longer. After a few days, I noticed my redness from dryness had significantly reduced, making my complexion more even. 3) Scent It has a typical, pleasant cosmetic fragrance. As someone who usually prefers unscented products, I found the scent a bit strong. This might be a point of contention, so if you're sensitive to fragrances, it's best to try a tester first.
ConsNothing negative to report. It's so good that I'm puzzled why it isn't more popular.

I'm about halfway through the bottle, and since switching to this ampoule, I haven't experienced any deep dryness. As someone with super sensitive skin and severe redness, I've never felt this level of hydration except when my skin was parched! The moisturizing power is incredible. The texture isn't rich but applies lightly and absorbs well. I was worried it might be drying since it's lighter and absorbs faster than the Missha purple ampoule I used before, but I was surprised by how well it moisturizes. It immediately improved my skin's deep dryness, which was great. With consistent use, I noticed it calmed my skin and seemed to strengthen my skin barrier. In the past, my skin would sometimes feel a bit rough due to dryness, but using this continuously has made my skin feel more resilient. This ampoule works well both at night and in the morning. Unlike richer, tackier formulas that can reduce makeup longevity and cause pilling, this one absorbs nicely and leaves skin feeling firm without any pilling. Looking back at what I've written, it sounds like an ad, doesn't it? But I promise it's not - I bought this with my own money. It's a new product, so I'm not sure how it'll perform in other seasons, but I think I'll be reaching for this every winter.
ConsThere's nothing I dislike about it! However, I've heard that for people who don't react well to propolis, it really doesn't suit them. So those with sensitive skin should be careful.

This product comes with a dropper, and I use a few drops as a toner substitute. It's thinner than I expected, but not as watery as a typical toner. Since I usually use heavier, more viscous toners, this consistency was perfect for me. There's almost no stickiness, and it absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy residue or sitting on top of the skin. After using it for about 3-4 days, I noticed my skin looked slightly clearer and less flaky. If you're looking for a cost-effective propolis ampoule, I'd definitely recommend this one.
ConsWhile I'm satisfied using it as a toner, those who want to use it as an essence might find it lacks richness. The ampoule alone wasn't enough to prevent my skin from feeling tight, so I made sure to apply my regular skincare routine thoroughly afterwards.
TipWhen applied right after cleansing, it feels like it helps the skin absorb nutrients more effectively, enhancing overall absorption.

It doesn't leave an excessive shine like your skin is dripping with honey, but instead absorbs well into the skin, giving a beautiful glow.
ConsThe amount is less than expected, so it seems like I'll use it up quite quickly.

I've tried comparable products from other brands, but often found them too sticky. This ampoule, however, doesn't feel sticky at all. What's more, it absorbs incredibly fast, which I really appreciate.
ConsThere's nothing negative to say. If it goes on sale frequently, it's definitely worth stocking up on.
TipIt's great to mix a bit with a matte foundation. This way, you don't need to buy a separate winter foundation.
