It's particularly effective for improving my skin barrier, which is why I use various propolis products. The Honey Royal Lactin Ampoule has a high concentration of propolis extract, listed as the first ingredient. It contains 64% extract. Among all the propolis ampoules I've used, this one absorbs exceptionally well. It leaves the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. The fragrance is absolutely delightful. While propolis products often have strong scents that can be polarizing, this one has a pleasant floral aroma.
ConsThere's nothing particularly negative to mention. You can't complete your entire skincare routine with just this, so you'll need to apply a cream afterward. It's a great ampoule for seasonal transitions.

It has a slightly viscous, rich texture. The oil and moisture balance feels well-adjusted - I think those with combination to dry skin would really like this. Thanks to the honey ingredient, it's incredibly hydrating with decent moisturizing power. I thought it might be sticky, but surprisingly it absorbs well. It has quite a strong honey scent, which can be a bit much sometimes, but it's also pleasantly sweet.
ConsThe product itself is really great... The texture, how it absorbs, and its hydrating power are all truly excellent. However, honey and propolis don't agree with my skin, so it made me feel itchy when I applied it. My mother tried it and said it was moisturizing and nice though.
TipTest if honey or propolis ingredients suit your skin before purchasing.

While a friend described it as herbal, to me it's just typical of many ampoules. The application is incredibly smooth and hydrating. When applied, it transitions slowly from moisturizing to a plumping effect. The texture itself is somewhat viscous and slick. It's surprisingly rich, which I initially thought might not suit oily skin, but I was mistaken. $Function/Performance It's phenomenal at clearing up blemishes. Of all the ampoules I've tried, this seems to be the fastest-acting. By the next day, all my acne except for pustules had vanished. Even redness faded slightly, likely due to its soothing properties. I bought it out of curiosity after an employee's strong recommendation, and now I feel like that employee deserves a salesperson of the year award. Firstly, the price point is incredibly reasonable. It seems to be the best among ampoules in this price range - truly a hidden gem.
ConsIt's richer than expected. While effective, I'm sensitive to sticky and heavy textures. I'm torn about repurchasing because it's hard to find an ampoule this effective at this price point. If they could slightly modify the texture, it would be perfect.
TipIf you can get past the richness, it's genuinely a must-have, highly recommended product.

It's sweet and delightful! However, it does have a bit of that typical cosmetic fragrance, which I both like and feel slightly concerned about... The dropper format makes it super convenient to use, and the texture isn't overly sticky at all. At first application, I was worried it might feel heavy because it went on quite thick, but I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't end up feeling sticky. That's a big plus! Also, there's a cream that comes with it, and when you use them together, your skin feels incredibly hydrated the next day... I think this would be perfect for those with dry skin if used in combination with the Glow Cream!
ConsThere wasn't really anything I disliked! Though the scent is nice, it does have that cosmetic fragrance feel, which is both good and slightly disappointing...
TipUsing it together with the Honey Royal Lactin Glow Cream makes your skin even more hydrated!!!! It really gives you that honey-like skin feeling!

Thanks to this, I'm achieving that coveted honey glow makeup look these days! As soon as I got it, I started applying it. I've tried various honey-based ampoules, toners, and mists before, but I often avoided them due to the distinctive honey scent. However, with this propolis nourishing care, my skin texture has started improving and I'm loving it. The scent is more like other cosmetics? It's great that I can't detect that typical honey smell...
ConsIt could have been a bit more rich in texture, but the nourishing ingredients are great and it leaves a refreshing finish, so I'm happy!
TipWhile it's good to apply during the ampoule stage of skincare, here's a tip: After finishing your basic skincare routine including sunscreen, and just before patting on your compact, apply the propolis ampoule all over your face. You might think, 'Won't this make my makeup pill?' But because it has such a light finish, if you smooth it on and pat it gently, or even just dry your hair and come back, it absorbs beautifully. Then, when you apply your cushion foundation, you'll get that honey glow makeup! I'm really enjoying this HolikaHolika ampoule.

It didn't cause any additional blemishes, which is great. I also liked the texture and scent.
ConsWhile it's supposed to be amazing for deep dryness, I didn't really notice much of an effect. Often, I still felt dry even after applying it. This definitely isn't a one-and-done product! It may vary depending on your skin type, but I always follow up with a hydrating moisturizer after using this. I also didn't see much improvement in blemishes, which it claims to help with.

But after trying this, I switched immediately. Holika Holika was a brand I associated mainly with color cosmetics, but wow, their skincare is impressive too. The finish is nice and firm. The hydration is decent (sufficient for me, just entering my thirties - some calming ampoules can be drying). Unlike other propolis products I've used, this one has a pleasant scent and is transparent (see photo). I mix it with vitamin C powder when applying. Over time, it seems to fade scars and give my skin more resilience. Overall, it's great. As a skincare enthusiast who's tried many products, I can't say it's the absolute best, but it definitely holds its own against other famous propolis ampoules.
ConsNo downsides yet. However, you must apply a moisturizer after using this.
TipI mix it with vitamin powder. This makes it very thin, giving it a toner-like consistency. I pat it generously on my face, and since my hands become quite sticky, I use them to massage my neck.
