I've been using this medical-grade product for a while, so I decided to buy the larger size. It has a slightly weighty emulsion texture that feels like it creates a protective layer when applied. I think it would suit normal to dry combination dehydrated skin types well. Compared to medical-grade products, it feels like it pills more easily and lacks sufficient hydration. The consistency is a bit thinner than expected. If you don't allow the previous skincare steps to absorb fully, it may pill like dead skin cells. Estra Cream Plus is a perfect match for my super sensitive skin. It's my must-have companion for outings and travels. Personally, I find the cream container a bit inconvenient. I ended up using this since my little brother wasn't, and I'm absolutely thrilled with it! After applying, I hardly got any blemishes, and my skin had an instant radiant glow. Though I don't have extremely dry skin, when I cleanse in the morning and apply this emulsion before school, it feels fully absorbed by around third period. All in all, I really like it! It absorbs well and feels moisturizing, so I use it frequently. It's perfect for someone like me who doesn't have super sensitive skin. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. 1. As someone with atopic dermatitis, this is a must-have emergency product... As a person who experiences periodic flare-ups of atopic dermatitis on my face, I can relate to those suffering from this condition. On days when my skin is super sensitive, I instinctively feel that if I don't act quickly, my face will be overrun by a severe outbreak. That's when I always reach for this product, applying nothing else but this. It truly prevents an atopic disaster! I haven't found an emulsion that's as effective at strengthening the skin barrier. Being from a dermatological brand, it gives me such peace of mind when using it. It's incredibly reassuring. 2. And it's so hydrating! (Why I insist on an emulsion rather than a cream) As someone with both atopic and oily skin, I'm particularly picky. When I use thick creams to soothe my sensitive skin, I immediately break out. That's why I've settled on this emulsion formula. It provides just the right amount of moisture, and if I feel I need more hydration, I simply layer it on a few more times. It's absolutely fantastic! None! This is the only product I have absolutely no complaints about... A real lifesaver for those with atopic dermatitis Obviously, I never apply this before makeup as it causes pilling! I highly recommend this product to those who, like me, struggle with both atopic dermatitis and blemishes! If you're dealing with deep dryness, pat on some toner and immediately layer this product multiple times. If you have oily skin, you might not need to apply a separate cream. It's moisturizing with great absorption, but most importantly, the hydration lasts for quite a long time, which I absolutely loved. I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin that easily breaks out with redness and blemishes if a product doesn't suit me. However, this one kept my skin hydrated for a long time without any issues. It was simply wonderful! There's really nothing to complain about. I can't think of any downsides. Honestly, I have no complaints.

It really fills in the skin with hydration! I love how moisturizing it is and I'm really enjoying using it. It seems to be a gentle product that doesn't irritate the skin. As someone with extremely dry skin, I found that applying just the Atobarrier Emulsion alone was enough to keep my skin moisturized! I highly recommend this product for anyone needing extra hydration during the winter months. I was a bit disappointed that the product was thinner than I expected. The emulsion has excellent absorbs. I love that it's nearly fragrance-free, so it doesn't clash with other products I apply afterwards. The price point isn't particularly budget-friendly. For those with severe atopic dermatitis, this might not provide significant improvement. (I'd recommend getting a prescription for Astra MD from a dermatologist instead.) After a while, it can leave the skin feeling dry, so I sometimes need to layer another emulsion on top. As an emulsion, it's easy and comfortable to apply. However, those with very dry skin might want to prepare an additional moisturizer to layer on top.
