This essence seems perfect for summer use. When I apply makeup over it, there's no pilling and my skin doesn't get oily throughout the day. The lightweight formula absorbs quickly, making it perfect to apply right after your emulsion! It gives you that instant feeling of controlling excess oil. The scent wasn't quite to my taste at first, though I've gotten used to it now. Many people might not like it initially. They say it's rose-scented, but I'm not so sure about that!

I love how light and refreshing it feels when applying! It absorbs quickly without any discomfort. Plus, it can be used as a primer! It's perfect for summer. After using this, I noticed that by lunchtime when I touch up my makeup, my skin seems less oily! Don't expect it to completely mattify your skin though. It's a bit challenging to use as a pore-minimizing primer, so it's best to apply a dedicated pore primer lightly at the end. While the effects weren't dramatic, it's worth trying during the summer months.
