I used it twice a day from December 24th to January 4th. 1. Fragrance At first, I was surprised by the strong herbal fragrance, but personally, I liked it (similar to the herbal scent in a sauna). However, the fragrance is quite polarizing, so it's a good idea to check it out before purchasing. The fragrance seemed long-lasting, but it became very faint as my hair dried, and the scent dissipated quickly over time. 2. Hair Appearance After Use My hair is very fine and lacks volume, so I have flyaway frizzy curls. After using the product twice a day, my unruly flyaways calmed down a bit starting from the third use. My fine, limp hair also seemed to have more body, and there were fewer creases when I tied my hair up.
Cons1. Ingredients There are 8 allergen-causing ingredients and 2 cautionary ingredients, which is quite a lot despite the many good ingredients. Since my scalp is sensitive and I can get pimples or itchiness from using the wrong shampoo or conditioner, I felt some itchiness when massaging my scalp with this product. Sensitive users may not be able to do the scalp massage. 2. Softness After Use I expected the hair mask to provide long-lasting softness, but the softness seemed to fade over time. The difference from my regular product was quite significant, so I deducted a lot of stars. Instead of softness, my hair felt more stiff and rigid. 3. Price 150ml for 54,000 won - Given the ingredients and the effects, I think there are better products available for the price. I don't think I would purchase this with my own money.
TipTo help maintain the softness for longer, using an oil treatment after using the product was helpful.

I used this hair mask without a separate hair cap. 1. The scent is not unpleasant and is quite neutral. It's hard to describe, but it's not fragrant, nor is it bad, just neutral. 2. The tube packaging makes it easy to control the amount used.
Cons1. It doesn't seem that inexpensive considering the amount. As a student, I may be perceiving this, but by my standards, I wouldn't consider it inexpensive. 2. I'm not sure if it's worth the price. There are no dramatic effects, just a fairly neutral result, so I'm not sure if it's worth the price.
TipUsing a hair mask alone may not be enough to fully recover your hair. After washing your hair, be sure to also use a hair essence and hair oil to help nourish your hair.

My husband's scalp is seborrheic, with acne breakouts, dryness that causes dandruff, and redness when using the wrong shampoo. I would appreciate if you could review this product based on these considerations. 1. Fragrance I really like Aveda's signature fragrance, and this product also has the same pleasant scent. Compared to the Smooth Infusion or Nutriplenish products I use, this one has a slightly sweeter fragrance. The fragrance lingers subtly for about a day after use. 2. Scalp-safe I've always had difficulty using hair treatments because they're not supposed to be applied directly to the scalp. It was hard to avoid getting it on my hairline. But since this is safe for the scalp, it was much easier to use the treatment. 3. Moisturizing This review is from the perspective of using it on my husband's scalp, not my own healthy one. In the winter, his scalp tends to get dry, so he usually uses a scalp essence. But on the days he used this treatment, he didn't need the essence because his scalp didn't feel dry. He prefers using a treatment during the shower rather than a spray-on essence afterwards. Essences can be easy to miss spots, and using too much can make the hair feel greasy, but this treatment doesn't have those downsides. 4. Packaging I really appreciate that Aveda doesn't use excessive packaging. The paper packaging simply contains the product with no additional boxes or papers. And like all Aveda products, it's made with at least 65% post-consumer recycled polypropylene. I'm glad to see Aveda making efforts to reduce plastic waste.
ConsWhile the price point is not exactly budget-friendly, the fragrance is something I personally love, though I acknowledge it may be a polarizing scent. Since it's an Aveda product, I would recommend trying it out in-store to smell the fragrance first before purchasing, just to make sure it's a good fit.
TipI personally don't like it when the Aveda fragrance blends with other brand scents. So I would recommend sticking to Aveda products as much as possible, even if they're not from the same line. If that's not an option, using an unscented product alongside the Aveda one would allow you to better enjoy the subtle Aveda fragrance.

The scent is slightly mild, with a hint of herbal (?) aroma. But it's not overpowering, so it didn't bother me too much. The product texture is creamy, but not excessively thick! I was worried it might feel sticky when applied to the scalp, but it actually finishes off quite cleanly. After rinsing it off, my hair feels silky smooth. My scalp has been reddish, and although I haven't used it for a long time yet, it seems to have improved the redness a bit right after use. The redness does come back, but I think with long-term use, the effects will be even better.
ConsThe herbal-like scent might be divisive, and the relatively high price is a downside.
TipAlthough it's a scalp mask, using it also softens the hair, so you may not need to use a separate hair treatment.

The product itself is also very dense and concentrated, but since it's not silicone-based, it doesn't cause any scalp discomfort or back acne, which is great. The scent seems to be divisive, but it's similar to salon products, so I didn't find it too bothersome. My scalp feels clean, and my hair seems to be getting stronger, so I'm quite satisfied with it.
ConsAt first, I applied too much on my scalp, and I think I didn't rinse the back of my head thoroughly enough, so it ended up feeling a bit sticky later on. Even though it's a scalp product, you still need to make sure to rinse it out properly.
