I looked into anti-hair loss shampoos and tried this one, as I heard it's widely used. My hair is thin and fine, so I'm using the light version. It doesn't produce a lot of lather, which is fine with me. The scent may be divisive, with a slight herbal aroma, but I personally find it acceptable. When I wash my hair, I definitely notice less shedding and reduced itchiness, so I plan to continue using it for the time being. I also repurchased the light rich version, as I heard that variant is good too. I'm satisfied with using this product.
ConsThe price is a bit steep, though... I wish they could lower it a bit. But overall, I'm happy with the product.

Natural Fragrance My husband and I love this natural fragrance, so we often bought and used Aesop shampoo just for the scent! The Aveda Advanced shampoo also has a strong natural, eco-friendly fragrance! It has a scent of cedar and spicy notes, rather than floral. I was very satisfied with the wonderful fragrance! 2. Controls Oily Scalp As the name suggests, for oily scalp, it can control and alleviate greasiness and stickiness to some extent with just one use! This is because the shampoo contains salicylic acid as an ingredient. You'll think, 'Ah, my hair doesn't get greasy easily today,' and it actually has some effect in controlling oil. 3. Usage Experience Oily scalp can easily make the hair weak, leading to hair loss. In the case of anti-hair loss shampoos, the hair can become squeaky or easily dried out. However, the Aveda Advanced shampoo does not become squeaky, but rather soft! After drying the hair, the usage experience becomes squeaky from then on :) This usage experience was so novel that both my husband and I found it fascinating to use! :)
Cons1. Ingredients I thought the ingredients would be good since the fragrance is so natural-friendly, but there are as many as 7 allergen ingredients, which surprised me. I was planning to repurchase, but I think I need to think it over. 2. Price The price of 38,000 won for 200ml is a burdensome price. Compared to the anti-hair loss shampoos available in the market, if there is not much difference in terms of price or usage experience, it will likely be easily overshadowed in price competition. 3. Removes Too Much Oil Except for completely oily scalp, the general scalp may feel dry. It will likely be more suitable for use in the summer than in the winter!
Tip💜Buy it in the following cases💜 ⭐️Super Oily Scalp⭐️ -> No matter what I do, my hair is always greasy! ⭐️Fragrance is the Most Important⭐️ -> Natural woody scent

Thank you for the product I've been wanting to try🙇 I've been dealing with seborrheic dermatitis on and off, but lately it's just been oily rather than severe, so I can only speak to that aspect. First of all, the scent is nice. I've been avoiding scented shampoos, so it's been a while since I've used one with fragrance. If you don't mind the fragrance, you'll probably enjoy it. It's not overpowering and very pleasant. Ah! And the lather was really great. A small amount was enough to shampoo my hair. Even though it's an expensive product, it seems like it will last quite a while. And the shampoo doesn't leave a sticky, oily feeling, so I think those who don't like that greasy feeling will like it too. I felt the same way.
ConsI tend to focus a lot on whether a shampoo can keep my scalp oil-free for 24 hours, but the truth is there aren't many shampoos that can really last that long. It also varies a lot depending on my condition. While I had high hopes given the price range, this product is similar in terms of controlling oil. And I was a bit disappointed that it contains fragrance, based on my preferences.
TipI'm currently using a hair vinegar product that a friend recommended, and I found it works well in combination with this product to help control oil.

Personally, I like lemon scent, and the lemon and herbal scents are the primary notes, but there is also a deeper, more subtle aroma that comes from the inclusion of ginseng and turmeric components. It's a harmonious and richly layered fragrance that leaves me feeling pleasant every time I use the shampoo. -Cleansing Power The cleansing power is definitely good. I have a sensitive scalp and sometimes have issues with flakiness and dandruff, which can be itchy, and I never felt completely refreshed before. But now, there's no itchiness at all, and the flakiness has disappeared... The best part is that my scalp feels incredibly clean, refreshed, and thoroughly cleansed. -Lather I have fine hair and tend to use a lot of shampoo, but the Aveda Advanced Exfoliating Shampoo lathers up well without needing too much product. It creates a nice, rich lather.
Cons-Price- Personally, everything is great, but I had to take off one star because of the price. Continuing to use it regularly is a bit of a burden. If not for the price, I would use it 100% of the time, but the cost is a concern. -Volume- I practically use the shampoo daily, and the volume is just too small, so it runs out quickly. Especially these days when there are a lot of larger-volume options out there, the size of this one feels quite small in comparison!
TipSince my hair is fine, I use a small amount of water and product, but it still lathers up nicely. When massaging it into my scalp, it feels like it's really cleaning my scalp. And when rinsing, if I gently brush through my hair with my fingers, the cleansing feels very thorough!

Fragrance In my case, I have an allergy to artificial fragrances, so I was very concerned about the fragrance, but fortunately, I did not experience any coughing. The ingredients are a bit disappointing, but I was satisfied that it did not cause any allergic reactions. The moment I opened the shampoo cap, the fragrance was reminiscent of oriental herbal cosmetics like Sulwhasoo or The History of Whoo. 2. Volume and Price The price seems a bit burdensome compared to the volume. However, the product produces a good amount of lather with a small quantity, despite the small volume. 3. Packaging The packaging is convenient as I don't need to use both hands to open the cap. It was inconvenient to open the cap that required both hands when I wanted to add more shampoo during washing, but now I can do it with one hand, which is great. 4. Post-Drying Feeling I have long hair (waist-length with a perm) and couldn't go to the hair salon due to COVID-19, so the waves had almost disappeared, but after using this shampoo, the waves came back.
ConsThe cleansing power is quite disappointing. As a shampoo hopper, I was happy to be selected, but ㅜㅜ I have an oily scalp and fine hair, and I tend to get some dandruff the day after washing, so I thought this shampoo would be a perfect match based on the description. However, it gets greasy very quickly. Even when I wash my hair every other evening and the next morning, it gets greasy. According to my husband, he doesn't even go a week without washing. ㅋㅋ I asked him to try it, and he said the oil comes back up quickly. The cleansing power seems a bit lacking. I'm giving it 3 stars ㅜㅜ As I believe cleansing power is the most important factor in a shampoo, I don't think I would want to purchase this with my own money.
TipWhen I washed my hair for the second time, I double-washed it because it got greasy so quickly the first time. After doing that, the volume at the crown and the waves that had been there for a long time came back.

The scent is not artificial, which I like. It has a herbal? scent mixed with a cool fragrance, and it's fine. As for the anti-hair loss effect, I'll have to use it more to know, but it seems to give some volume at the roots when drying my hair.
ConsEverything is good, but the cost-effectiveness... the price is high. The immediate effect is mainly on the root volume.
TipAt first, I thought the lather didn't form well, but after brushing my hair upside down before shampooing and thoroughly wetting my hair and scalp with lukewarm water, the shampooing went much better. Also, if you don't rinse it out right away after shampooing, but wait a bit, it feels even more refreshing.

Fragrance There is a somewhat herbal fragrance, but personally, I don't dislike it as much as some others. It has a healthy feeling? It's almost undetectable after drying, which was fine. 2. Lather Instead of the voluminous lather of regular shampoos, the lather is dense and compact, leaving a clean feeling on the scalp. Those who prefer abundant lather may find this lacking, but I liked the feeling of proper scalp care. 3. Hair Texture Usually, these scalp-focused shampoos don't care for the hair well, making it stiff, but this one doesn't leave the hair stiff after drying, and the moderate softness is nice! 4. Volume My hair is naturally thin and sparse, so the scalp volume tends to fall easily, but even without extra effort in drying, there is volume. However, the volume does seem to diminish over time.
Cons1. Ingredients..? Looking at the ingredient list, there are some allergen-causing ingredients and 20 cautionary ingredients. I'm usually fine with using anything, but after using this, my scalp kept itching, so right before writing the review, I checked the ingredients and wondered if that might be the cause. I thought the ingredients were fine, but when I used my regular shampoo, I was okay, but when I used this one, there was a persistent itchy and stinging feeling... I'll keep using it and see if it improves.
TipSince this product is focused on caring for the scalp rather than the hair, I think using a small amount and massaging it into the scalp can provide sufficient effects even with the compact lather.
