This product has been used for over a year, with a large volume. While there may not be any dramatic effects, it seems to be good for consistent hair care. The fragrance seems to be polarizing, but I personally didn't find it overbearing. When applied thoroughly, it lathers well and evenly coats the scalp. I personally use a scalp shampoo brush as well. I've also tried mixing it with other shampoos, but this one still seems to work better for me, somehow. With my oily scalp, thin, and lifeless hair combination, this shampoo leaves my scalp feeling refreshed for about half a day.
Cons
However, due to my oily scalp, thin, and lifeless hair, I do feel my roots getting heavy again by the afternoon. And there isn't any dramatic reduction in hair loss or increased volume. It's just about on par or slightly better than other shampoos I've used. If I had to wish for something, it would be for a more dramatic effect...
Tip
By the way, I'm currently using a shampoo, conditioner, and a volume spray. Using that spray and air-drying in the cool breeze really helps boost the volume, which is closer to my natural hair.

In the early 2020s, my scalp suffered quite a bit from frequent hair coloring, so I decided to apply for the Hwahae Trial Reviewer program. 1. Formulation The formula is silky and honey-like, not much different from a regular shampoo. It has a good viscosity and dissolves well in water, and the foam is not excessive, which gave me a sense of stability in using it :-) 2. Fragrance While the ingredients list mentions ginseng and turmeric, the fragrance is more akin to what is typically found in propolis products. I was really looking forward to trying the Aveda Invati shampoo! I'm so happy to have been selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer to try it out 🧑🏻‍🎄 1. Usage Experience The formula seemed a bit thicker than expected, which made it nice for scalp massaging. With a bit of scalp massage, the lather built up nicely as well. 2. Fragrance The fragrance may be a bit polarizing. It has an herbal scent, so it's not a particularly sweet or floral fragrance. However, I felt like it helped improve the condition of my hair and scalp. 3. Scalp Condition It's been quite dry lately, so I've been dealing with more flakiness. (I have a sensitive scalp, so I haven't found the perfect shampoo for me yet.) I've used it twice so far and haven't experienced any discomfort or irritation. There was no itchiness, and it felt less irritating, but I'll need to use it more to see if it's truly effective at removing the flakiness, which was one of the key selling points. I'll keep using it and provide an update. ++To help with the flakiness, I think massaging the scalp with the shampoo and letting it sit for 2 minutes before rinsing could be more effective. 4. Greasiness I really like getting a deep clean, so compared to my previous scalp shampoo, this one felt like the oil came back a bit quicker.
