This water tint comes in a burgundy plum shade that would likely suit winter cool tones beautifully. While I'm not an expert on undertones, I have a feeling it would work well. It's not an extremely cool purple-tinted plum, but more of a red plum that nicely balances burgundy and red tones. I think even those without cool undertones could wear it comfortably. The tint is hydrating with a moisturizing feel, and the color payoff is truly impressive. It stains the lips powerfully and has excellent staying power. It's a small detail, but the packaging is pretty and cute - it seems to match B. by BANILA's image perfectly. After wearing it for a while, it can feel a bit drying on the lips. Due to its deep color, the staining can be slightly uneven, which is more noticeable compared to lighter shades. - dl**********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 16, 2022
As a winter cool-toned person, this vivid lip tint is surprisingly versatile. It deepens beautifully with multiple layers, though I prefer just 1-2 applications. It's a truly hopeful find for those with cool winter complexions - a must-try! The tint doesn't transfer onto masks, and if you gently pat it after application, it adheres perfectly to your lips. I wish all water tints performed this well... The color is absolutely stunning, and it's such a shame that it seems to be flying under the radar. Like most water tints, it does come with the typical issues of emphasizing dead skin cells and causing some dryness. However, unlike some tints that pill when you apply lip balm over them, this one works well in combination with a balm. The only downside might be that you need to remember to apply lip balm when it feels dry. But honestly, that's pretty standard for most lip products, so I'm not sure if it's a real drawback. - so**********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 3, 2021
- The color payoff is vibrant! It feels like a slightly thick water tint, so the color comes out beautifully clear and vivid, not dull at all! I don't suit low-saturation lips, so I really like products like this. - I love that the color is super deep. It's a shade that cool-toned winter types will go crazy for... It's deep but not purple-ish, more of a beautiful wine color, which I absolutely adore. When you apply it, it totally transforms your vibe! A must-have for cool-toned winter types! - The staying power is great! That's characteristic of water tints. The stain it leaves is almost the same color as the initial application. While it's not as intense as a pure water tint, it still lasts quite a long time. - It doesn't emphasize dead skin cells on the lips! It makes your lips look plump and bouncy. If you've struggled with matte lipsticks highlighting flaky skin, you'll probably love this! The shine isn't as intense as a 'tanghulu' lip gloss, so you can even wear it comfortably under a mask. - Being a water tint, it can be a bit patchy. So you might want to mix it with a powdery, matte lipstick that's good for overlining. I found that applying a base with that kind of matte lip product and then using this tint for gradation in the center works well to compensate for the drawback. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2021
- The color is absolutely gorgeous and it's a perfect red for cool-toned skin - The packaging is stunningly beautiful - It stains the lips really well - The staying power is excellent - It applies smoothly and evenly - Being a water tint, it tends to stain more intensely on areas with dead skin cells, so when you remove it, the inner parts of your lips with flaky skin remain noticeably red. However, this is completely normal for this type of product and doesn't bother me at all. It's still a flawless tint overall.
