It's a soft and bright lavender cheek color that's perfect for cool skin tones. The vibrant and pretty shade complements fair complexions beautifully. Being a cream formula, it tends to attract dust. Without a built-in puff, it's challenging to touch up when you're out and about. - j2******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJan 17, 2023
The color is absolutely stunning - a slightly cool-toned pink with a subtle beam effect. It's a cream formula that applies beautifully when you pat it on. It can look a bit patchy when your skin is dry, though that's probably true for most products like this. - eo****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2022
Texture 💖 It's a solid balm-type blush! The formula melts easily with just your fingertip warmth, creating a beautifully soft texture. Application 💖 I've only ever used powder blushes before, so I was worried about blending this evenly. But those concerns vanished! The lightweight, creamy formula applies so smoothly and effortlessly. It has a velvety feel when you put it on. Pigmentation 💖 The color payoff isn't super intense, which I actually prefer. As someone who likes a softer, more natural flush, this subtle pigmentation is perfect for everyday wear. Personal Color 💖 I swatched both shades on deep undertone muted and cool summer skin tones. Shade 3 seems versatile enough for both autumn warm and deep undertone complexions. I was initially concerned shade 4 might be too purple, but once applied, it's a delicate hue that complements cool summer skin beautifully. Scent 💖 It's fragrance-free, so you can apply it worry-free! The colors might be challenging to pull off unless you have a cool summer complexion. Being a balm formula, it's unfortunately prone to attracting dust. Melt the product with your fingertip and gently pat it onto desired areas for a natural flush! - ky******Combination SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedMar 14, 2022
This is my absolute favorite cream blush! With the ongoing pandemic, I found that powder blushes would cake up under my mask and become a mess. Cream blushes, on the other hand, are less drying and don't cake as much, making touch-ups easier. That's why I've been loving cream blushes, and the BBIA Downy Lavender is hands down the best. The color payoff is fantastic, and it applies smoothly in a light, thin layer. The staying power is also quite good for a cream blush. One downside, which is common to all cream blushes, not just this one, is that it attracts dust like crazy (you can even see the dust particles in the photo I took...). No matter how much you try to clean it, dust keeps sticking to it. Also, the size is a bit awkward - it's small and elongated, making it tricky to apply with fingers and slightly inconvenient to use with a puff. - ke*******Dry SkinInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 23, 2022
This shade will beautifully complement those with fair skin tones. I have a light to medium undertone that can work with shades 13-17, and even though I'm not a strong cool tone, this blush might appear a bit stark when first applied to the cheeks! Initially, there's a strong lavender tint that seems to sit on top of the skin. However, the magic of this blush is that after just 5 minutes, it melds into your skin, looking as natural as your own flush! The intense lavender fades, leaving behind a soft, milky pink. Some cream blushes can disturb your base makeup, but this one applies smoothly over even dewy foundations without any lifting. You can easily pat it on with your fingers, no brush or sponge needed, making it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. It's become my winter holy grail blush, following Ballerina Pop - I'm already on my second tube! On days when my skin looks dull and I need a brightness boost, I use this as a base layer under other blushers. If you have dry skin and a similar light undertone, I highly recommend this hydrating blush formula! The downside is its longevity. While the way the lavender color blends into the skin for a natural look is a plus, it's also a bit of a drawback. After a few hours, it fades so naturally that it practically disappears. Unlike powder blushes that I never need to touch up, when I use this alone, I always carry it for reapplication during the day. Also, because of its short wear time, you go through the product quite quickly. If it were just 4000 or 5000 won, I'd confidently replace it monthly, but at its current price point, that's a bit tough. If you find the staying power too short, try using Downy Lavender as a base and lightly setting it with a sheer powder blush on top - it's absolutely stunning. This shade is just perfect for light undertones. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 13, 2022
It's beautifully light and I love the natural color payoff. I'd moderately recommend it. It tends to transfer onto my hands when applying, and I'm a bit concerned about the ingredients. Not sure if it'll be good for me. - ks*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 10, 2022
Looking at it now, the ingredients are quite gentle! Pia... you're the best! Anyway, it's a cool-toned blush with a cream formula, and it's a Barbie doll pink-lavender shade that only true cool-toned beauties would dare to try! It might cling a bit to facial peach fuzz, but if you apply it thinly, it looks gorgeous. The case is so delicate that if you drop it once, the hinge area breaks... I guess we can't expect too much for such an affordable price. Considering the quality of ingredients at this price point, it's still excellent, Pia! I highly recommend true cool and winter cool-toned folks to give this a try for its affordable price. The color is exactly as shown in the photo. - lm*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedDec 30, 2021
I've always felt awkward about cream blushes and stuck to powder types, but I decided to give this a try since it's both convenient and affordable. The best part is how incredibly easy it is to apply - you can just use your fingers to gently pat and blend it onto your skin without any other tools. It's so convenient! If using your hands feels unhygienic, you can always apply it with a wedge sponge or beauty blender. I was worried the color in the container looked too intense, but once applied, it gives the most beautiful soft pink flush. It would be perfect for light summer cool tones. With its pretty color and effortless application, this has become my go-to blush lately when I can't decide what to wear. As expected with cream blushes, the staying power is a bit disappointing. It also tends to transfer onto masks more than powder blushes do. - kt********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 8, 2021
It's so hard to find a good cool-toned cream blush, but I'm thrilled that BBIA keeps their Downy Lavender in stock. As someone who prefers a dewy makeup look, I'm partial to cream blushers. This one creates a beautiful watercolor-like effect, giving my cheeks a soft pink glow. The staying power could be better. Also, the packaging looks a bit cheap. I think they should consider redesigning the case to give it a more premium feel. It pairs really well with moisturizing sunscreens. - ms*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedSep 25, 2021
I'm so thrilled to have found a blusher with this exact effect I've been searching for! It gives that soft, baby-like skin appearance, and it's perfect for creating adorable makeup looks. The fact that you need to apply it with your fingers is a bit of a drawback. Since using your hands might not be the most hygienic option for your skin, I'd recommend using a separate puff instead!
