It seems perfect for use in the summer. The usage experience is good, and it absorbs quickly. Most importantly, it's a spray type with just the right amount of mist, so even someone with combination skin like me carries it around to use it like a mist when I feel dryness! The downside is that the capacity is small compared to the price, so I usually purchase it as a tool. While the spray-type only format is a plus for me, there may be some who dislike it. Like a toner pack, soak a cotton pad and when you're busy, spray it with a mist two to three times, then place it on your face like a toner pack and leave it for 2-3 minutes. This is great for calming and helps makeup apply well. In the summer, it's good for lowering facial temperature, and in the winter or transitional seasons, spraying it more and building a strong base helps reduce dryness. - yh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresNov 3, 2024
The spray format makes it incredibly convenient to use. I have sensitive skin, but it didn't cause any blemishes. It's great for reducing heat sensation on the skin. I didn't feel like it provided good hydration. There's a noticeable alcohol scent, so I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to fragrances. - al******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedAug 14, 2023
This review comes after finishing an entire bottle. The spray format makes it convenient to use, and it absorbs quickly without any stickiness after application. I felt it had a soothing effect, so I layered it multiple times when small blemishes appeared. When purchased with a discount, the price-to-quantity ratio is quite reasonable. I had no idea the ingredients were this problematic... Thanks to Hwahae, I've become aware of all these concerning components. I'm not sure if I'll repurchase it. If you're not concerned about ingredients, it might work well for those with oily skin. - Hwahae UserDry SkinRecommendedDec 14, 2022
I'm really satisfied using this product. After cleansing, I spray this on immediately, and even if I do something else briefly before continuing my skincare routine, I don't experience any deep dryness! I have extremely dry skin, so if I don't do my entire skincare routine right after washing my face, the area around my mouth would turn white, and applying emulsion would cause a burning sensation that made me want to wash my face again. But with this, I can spray it on, do other things for a bit, and then apply emulsion without any tingling! The scent... well, it takes a long time to get used to. The spraying power...? How should I put it... it's not great. I wasn't expecting a fine mist, but it comes out in a really strange way. - an********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRednessDec 7, 2022
I really liked that it comes in a transparent bottle, and I decided to try it because it's packed with calendula. After a few days, I noticed some blemishes popping up and wondered why. When I went to the dermatologist, they said I had a few pustules. I'm so disappointed! I only changed my toner... I regret trusting the Instagram hype so much. It's also very drying. Even after applying it, my skin feels dry, and even when I use it as a mask pack, there's this inexplicable dryness. It's a shame they don't provide samples. It would be better to test a small amount on your cheek and observe the results before switching to a new skincare product. - mo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityMay 2, 2022
This product is perfect for liberal application without any worries. Even with my super sensitive skin, I can spray it generously without concern, which shows it's not a harsh formula! Plus, it has a lovely herbal scent! The glass bottle without a cap isn't ideal for on-the-go use. However, this isn't a deal-breaker that would prevent me from purchasing it. For a soothing effect, try saturating a cotton pad with the product and leaving it on your skin instead of using a mask. - ys****Oily SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 25, 2021
I have sensitive, oily skin prone to blemishes. Even in Korea, my skin reacts to different water types, leaving it red for half the month (which is super frustrating). Whenever this happens, I spray this generously, almost like I'm washing my face. After a few minutes, the redness completely subsides. I've already gone through two bottles and have ordered more. It truly works wonders! It can be drying. I use it like a mist after applying Leaders Calming Essence. If you use this toner alone at first, even oily skin might feel dry. It's so effective that I end up using a lot... which makes me a bit sad because it's quite expensive. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJul 15, 2021
My skin was getting toasted under the strong summer sun. Even after prolonged sun exposure during my hotel staycation, this mist essence quickly calmed the redness. As someone with a cool skin tone, I don't tan but my skin turns red easily. This product helped recover my sensitive, irritated skin from the intense sunlight. I was surprised to find there was no cap when I first received it. However, they say it's for environmental reasons. It works wonders if you soak a cotton pad generously and leave it on like a toner pack. - fd***Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 7, 2020
While this brand may still be unfamiliar to Korean consumers, its long history and the trust associated with natural cosmetics could make it as beloved as other German brands if well-promoted. Product highlights: - Luxurious packaging: The glass bottle design is elegant, and it looks stunning on my vanity next to my I* serum. I love being able to see how much product I've used through the transparent bottle. - Scent: It has a unique fragrance that's hard to find in other brands. If I had to compare, it's similar to what you might find in Fre* products. Personally, it reminds me of dried roses. While opinions on the scent seem divided, I appreciate its natural, non-artificial quality. - User experience: My skincare routine is simple - no toner, just serum and moisturizer. This approach, using a hydrating serum and moisturizer, not only provides ample hydration but also streamlines my routine, which I find beneficial for my skin's health. I also aim to reduce waste for environmental reasons. While some people use sheet masks daily, even cotton pads twice a day add up. This product is fantastic because you can simply spray it on without cotton pads! The spray mechanism works well, and it's incredibly convenient. Conclusion: I trust this brand, recognized even in Germany, a powerhouse for natural cosmetics. The spray toner is convenient and doesn't require cotton pads. Adding just this product to my existing routine has noticeably improved my skin texture. In short, it's been a great discovery of both a brand and a product! If you've had good experiences with gentle, hydrating German products like Phys*, Weleda, etc., you'll likely enjoy this natural cosmetic product from Dr. Hauschka too. The price is a bit steep, but I'd definitely repurchase if there was a promotion! - iy****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityNov 14, 2020
No cap means it's convenient for those who hate fuss - you can just spray it directly. The herbal scent is calming for both mind and skin. I was shocked when I first opened it and thought I'd forgotten the cap, but it turns out there isn't one. While it's convenient for lazy people like me to just spray without opening and closing a cap, I worry about dust getting in. The product isn't very moisturizing. Even after spraying plenty, it feels like the inside is slightly hydrated, but the outside feels... tight? It's not suitable as a standalone mist for extremely dry skin. You'll need to use it like a toner and apply other skincare products too. They claim it's a fine mist, but mine isn't great - at first it came out like someone spitting on your face, and after using it for a while, the spray power is just so-so. It's definitely not a fine mist. The scent is strong and medicinal, which didn't bother me much, but I think it'll be polarizing for others. It's not suitable to use alone like a mist when your skin is dry. Also, it's expensive. Apply this generously when your skin is damp, then follow with your skincare routine. It's not a mist substitute.
