The formula doesn't dissolve and is quite nice to use. The color doesn't turn red on the skin either. It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't provide deep hydration. The texture is not hard and absorbs well. It glides on smoothly, which was great for soothing my rough lips. After trying other products, I find myself reaching for this lip balm. The downside? It's so soft that it absorbs quickly and wears off fast. Other than that, I can't think of any negatives. I also use it on my cuticles when they're particularly rough, or around my eyes when they feel dry.

Unlike some lip balms that can make your dead skin cells visible, Hausika doesn't have that issue at all. That's why I've been stocking up on multiple tubes for two years now. It's not an exaggeration to call this my holy grail lip balm! The only downside is that it's quite pricey. I wish it were a bit more affordable, especially since it's a lip balm I use so frequently and in large amounts. This is my holy grail lip balm! I'm currently on my third tube. It's incredibly moisturizing and soft, absorbs beautifully. The scent isn't overwhelming, just a subtle, sophisticated fragrance. Personally, I'm very satisfied with it. It's a bit on the softer side, so if you don't close the cap properly, it can get completely smooshed beyond repair. Also, not sure if it's a defect, but when I try to twist it up, it doesn't lock in place and just slides back down. Truly a legendary lip balm! I love it so much that I keep one in my office, at home, and in my purse - anywhere within reach. The hydration lasts incredibly long. I understand why Okjuhyun advertised using it for 10 years. Apply it before bed, and it's still there in the morning. It stays moisturizing even under a mask for hours. I also appreciate that it's firm and doesn't melt easily. It's pricey... But I buy in bulk to get discounts, so I'm using quite a few. I use it as an eye balm in winter. Good stuff!

It's the first lip balm I've ever used up completely. The lid seems a bit fragile. After dropping it a few times, it cracked and wouldn't close properly. Dr. Hauschka Lip Care Stick Singer Ok Joo-hyun has been using this as her go-to lip balm for 10 years now. It's a deeply moisturizing lip balm that can also be used around the eyes, apparently. I might need to buy separate ones for lips and eyes though. Using the same stick for both feels a bit unsanitary. The lip balm has a yellow color. I also like that it has a firm texture. Sometimes stick-type balms can be too soft and break while using, but this one seems like it won't have that issue, which is great. Made with natural ingredients like castor seed oil, this lip balm is suitable for everyone from 3-year-olds to pregnant women. It's incredibly hydrating without being too greasy, making it perfect for daily use. If you're looking for a moisturizing lip balm with good staying power for the dry fall and winter months, this is the one! It's a shame it's not more well-known. The product is so satisfying.

I felt like I shouldn't apply it too heavily. While it's not extremely soft, it does seem like it might be sensitive to heat! Fortunately, it melts with body temperature, making it easy to apply smoothly. There's no stickiness, and even though it's a bit oily, it doesn't leave a greasy film on the surface, which is nice. I think it's a decent lip care product for maintaining moisture when your lips are in relatively good condition. It's perfect for reapplying throughout the day for hydration. Recently, I ruthlessly peeled off the dead skin cells on my lips, leaving them in really bad shape. I quickly tried to remove some of the flakes with lip care products before using this. While it does seem to soften the dead skin a bit when applied directly on top, it doesn't remove the flakes very effectively. I wouldn't recommend using it this way.

It instantly relieves extreme lip dryness when applied. Absolute holy grail! Well... I can't think of any downsides. It's just incredibly, incredibly good. I just apply and reapply it without hesitation. I keep it within reach and use it whenever I feel any dryness.
