Primers usually have a matte finish, which can be challenging for dry skin like mine. However, this product is moisturizing, and above all, it seems to pair perfectly with the Estée Lauder Futurist foundation I'm currently using! Unlike other matte primers, this one doesn't excel at covering pores... - y1****Combination SkinSensitive SkinDec 14, 2024
It applies smoothly and evenly without any noticeable shimmer or clumping It's not as brilliant due to its less moisturizing nature If it's inconvenient to use during makeup, try using it as a massage cream before bed for a beautiful bare-faced look - ah******Dry SkinRecommendedSep 12, 2024
This works wonders with Estée Lauder foundation if you have very dry skin. It gives a radiant finish. While it doesn't specifically cover pores, it moisturizes the overall skin texture, making pores less noticeable. Well, compared to similar but cheaper alternatives... you might not feel the difference is worth the price. I use it together with Estée Lauder foundation. - mj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 20, 2024
It absorbs quickly and, unlike typical primers, leaves your skin feeling hydrated rather than dry after application. Unfortunately, the quantity is quite small for the price, making it rather expensive for the amount you get. - hs********Dry SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 23, 2024
Its lightweight texture absorbs effortlessly into the skin, even when applied generously. It provides a subtle brightening effect. I love that it doesn't cause any blemishes, isn't sticky at all, and feels amazing on the skin. There's nothing negative to say. I highly recommend it! - so*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedMar 3, 2024
This product works wonders in helping the thick Estée Lauder foundation spread smoothly, and you can really feel the difference before and after application. When I used the Banilxx hydrating primer, my foundation would break down quickly as time passed. However, with this product, I noticed my makeup stayed looking beautiful for much longer. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I usually experience dryness on my cheeks and oiliness around my nose area as the day goes on, but not with this product! It's absolutely fantastic. It's quite pricey. Aside from the cost, I can't find any other downsides. The high price tag and small quantity are the only drawbacks. After thoroughly applying your hydrating skincare, layer on this primer. Then, when you apply your base makeup, it will break down naturally and beautifully even as time passes. - eo*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 21, 2024
It seems to brighten my complexion and keep my skin hydrated. Hmm... I'd say it hits the mark. I've only used it a few times, but it doesn't seem to set very well on my skin. - bm********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedSep 17, 2023
This is my go-to primer when I apply semi-matte to matte foundations. I initially bought it along with Double Wear, which is famous for its matte finish. After trying it a few times, I fell in love and repurchased two more. At first, I thought I'd use it up quickly, but surprisingly, the amount is quite generous. I bought my first one three months ago and I'm still using it. Considering I tend to apply primer generously, others might be able to use it for over six months. The texture is thinner and lighter than a moisturizer - it feels like a middle ground between a hydrating serum and a cream. It's so hydrating that you can feel a cooling effect when applying. It gives the impression of providing pure hydration without much oil. When I use this product with Double Wear, it doesn't feel matte at all - I even wondered why Double Wear was called a matte foundation. But after using Double Wear once without this primer, I immediately understood. That's how essential this primer is when using matte foundations. The price seems a bit steep. It's comparable to the cost of a high-end department store foundation. There's not much to add. As long as it helps the foundation adhere well to the skin, you can apply it generously. - az****Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJun 13, 2023
After trying the sample, I noticed my skin looked more radiant, so I decided to purchase the full size. The primer is decent, but I'm not sure if it's my foundation that's the issue. Anyway, after using it a few times since buying, I'm not really convinced it's as good as I initially thought. - ss*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 27, 2023
I'm so thrilled... It's amazing! As someone with chronic acne and psoriasis, I've struggled with dead skin cells, pores, and skin heat, causing all foundations to look patchy and crack. Surprisingly, when I apply this, every foundation adheres perfectly! And the way it makes my skin look smoother goes without saying. For those battling dryness-induced cracking, you'll find this absolutely fantastic. There's nothing comparable at a lower price point, so don't waste money searching (I speak from experience) - just go for this one. Due to its hydrating and thin texture, it falls short in concealing large pores. For better adherence, try applying the primer thinly with a spatula.
