Hello there! I'm a sunscreen and sun stick nomad. I usually use that famous blue tube sun stick as a secondary option, with cream as my primary. The scent is somewhat citrusy. It applies smoothly and wasn't bad at all. Since I use it before makeup, I don't like thick products, and this one doesn't apply too thickly, which is nice. The size is perfect for carrying around, so I can easily apply it wherever I go. Love the purple and black case - it's super pretty! It does feel a bit sticky after application, so I don't reach for it as often. The scent reminds me of mosquito repellent, which might be off-putting for many people. - zz********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedAug 12, 2023
Convenient portability for use anytime, anywhere. The stick format allows for hands-free application. Suitable for acne-prone or problematic skin thanks to the white rice flower extract. Personally, I prefer products with a white cast, so I was disappointed this one didn't have it. It would be great for touch-ups during the day - just swipe it on quickly and easily. - in********Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedAug 5, 2023
It has a slightly rich texture, which is great for dry skin as it applies moisturizing. Even in summer, it's fine because air conditioning can be drying. I'm also happy that it's preventing new freckles from appearing, which is why I've been using it. It applies a bit heavily, which might be challenging to use in the peak of summer. - sa*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJul 31, 2023
+. Absorbs well Glides onto the skin smoothly without clumping. Visually, it's like a transparent soap with a yellow tint, reminiscent of the early AHC sun stick. I was worried it might apply thickly, but despite not being 'lightweight' due to its formula, it doesn't apply as thickly as other sticks and doesn't feel heavy even on dry skin. Even if ingredients are gentle, thick application can clog pores and cause blemishes, but this product doesn't cause any breakouts. -. Ingredients Contains quite a few potentially allergenic components.. ±. Glow Leaves a dewy finish on the skin, similar to the early AHC sun stick. This is a plus for those who prefer a glowy look, but a drawback for me as I prefer a semi-matte finish. On bare-faced days, it feels a bit awkward, so I need to lightly dust some powder over it. When wearing foundation, the glow is neutralized, so I don't worry about excess shine after applying makeup. ±. Rich texture As you might expect from the above description, this product has a somewhat rich texture, but even when used in humid weather (July) on dry skin, it wasn't unpleasant. For those with very dry skin, the richness is tolerable even in summer. For oily skin types - yw******Dry SkinRecommendedJul 29, 2023
As someone with dry skin, I've always found traditional sunsticks too drying for my face and ended up using them only on my body. But this product is remarkably different - it's incredibly hydrating! I can apply it to my face without any dryness, and it doesn't cause my makeup to pill or look patchy. What's more, the scent is lovely. Sometimes I abandon products with off-putting fragrances, even if they work well, but this one has no bothersome smell - it's perfect! The size is also ideal for carrying around. It fits snugly in my hand, making it a great portable option. While I don't usually scrutinize ingredient lists (I'll use products I like even if they contain fragrances or less-than-ideal components), I've heard this one is rated EWG Grade 1. Those who are particular about ingredients will likely be thrilled with this. If there's one drawback, it might be the small size. However, for me, this compact size is actually a plus due to its portability.
