I once thought it was great...!! But I've realized it's just not right for me It's way too rich and incredibly drying. My face feels like it's on fire..!! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2020
It's been a while since I've written a review, but to put it simply, this product is so-so. With its BHA ingredient, it gives you that satisfying feeling of managing dead skin cells. The way it absorbs is also decent... The Hwahae feeling doesn't really appeal to me, and since I have extremely dry skin, it's not enough to use on its own. It leaves a somewhat dry feeling... Next time, I'll opt for a richer cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 27, 2019
I have combination skin and forehead acne has been a lifelong concern, but after using this, it all disappeared! With the blemishes and dead skin cells gone, my skin became smooth like a baby's. The best part? I don't even need to exfoliate separately anymore since dead skin doesn't build up. Don't apply too much. Use small amounts and never use it alone. As it removes dead skin cells, your skin can become overly dry. Think of this as an addition to your routine rather than a replacement for your usual cream. Make sure to moisturize well with other products. Long-term use might actually be detrimental as it can thin and dry out your skin. Monitor your skin condition and take a break for a few days if it becomes too dry or sensitive. For the eye and mouth areas, apply only what's left on your hands after treating other areas. For summer, I layered like this on my forehead where I had lots of blemishes: toner, emulsion, hydrating cream, then BHA cream. Since I have dry skin, I applied an extra layer of moisturizer everywhere else. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJun 26, 2019
It doesn't cause any blemishes on oily, acne-prone skin and isn't sticky at all. It spreads easily, has great ingredients, and I've been using it exclusively for years now. If you have dry skin, it's definitely going to be too drying. Even for my oily skin, it's too drying in winter when used alone. Make sure to apply toner before using this to prevent deep dryness. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJul 21, 2017
I chose it after checking the ingredients, and my skin is naturally resilient. It's fragrance-free and gentle. This is not a cream, it's just like a lotion. It's fine for summer, but even in spring, it feels like my skin gets dry again soon after applying. Not recommended for dry skin! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinFeb 18, 2017
I'm not sure if there's anything particularly good about the lotion my brother bought me, but I haven't had any breakouts or issues with it. However, I found that it dried out my skin quickly, especially during the winter when I was just using this. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinFeb 4, 2017
I will leave a review after using it for about a week. The best part was that I felt the texture was very smooth and soft. So far, the blackheads have not dramatically disappeared, but I think the dead skin has been removed to some extent. After using this product frequently, it has caused some redness on my sensitive skin. However, it has not caused any additional breakouts, so I will reduce the frequency of use and continue using it. Also, even though it is a cream, it does not feel as moisturizing as I expected. Over time, it feels a bit tight. If you have sensitive skin or rosacea, it would be good to reduce the frequency of use, such as applying it every other day or just once before bedtime.
