As someone with extremely oily and dehydrated skin prone to blemishes, this product has been a perfect match for me. I've been using it consistently for nearly 7 years without changing. It's also affordable! It can be difficult to use right after exfoliating or before applying makeup, and there's a slight tingling sensation. This is my holy grail cream! It's so gentle and gives a firming sensation when applied! There's no stickiness, and my skin was acting up before, but it completely improved after using this. There's nothing to complain about!!! The price is reasonable, and the packaging and size are great too. It's fantastic even for oily and sensitive skin! My routine is simply AHC by Skin + AHC by Emulsion + this BHA cream

This is a holy grail for acne-prone skin! It's been a ray of hope for my oily, blemish-prone complexion. If you apply it roughly and rub it in, it pills like dead skin cells. It seems to exfoliate dead skin cells, but I don't think it suits my skin When I applied it after my toner, essence, and moisturizer, it was okay. But when I applied it just over toner before bed, my skin reacted badly. I rarely got small bumps before, but overnight my skin broke out completely. This product might work well for those with oily skin, but it's not suitable for me, unfortunately. I don't think it would be good for sensitive or reactive skin types as it can be quite intense. After application, my skin feels tender even to a light touch. I plan to use it sparingly when my skin is in good condition. I noticed small bumps appearing on my forehead and what seems like whiteheads or tiny bumps on my cheeks. I was already using this product, but when my skin suddenly deteriorated, I changed everything including my cleanser. After my skin calmed down a bit, I started using this again to tackle the bumps. Gradually, the bumps started to disappear. I'll continue using it for another month, and if it successfully eliminates the bumps, I'll consider repurchasing. The downside, as mentioned in other reviews, is that those with sensitive skin should use it every other day. If it's still too harsh, try increasing the interval between applications. It's been a while since I've written a review, but to put it simply, this product is so-so. With its BHA ingredient, it gives you that satisfying feeling of managing dead skin cells. The way it absorbs is also decent... The Hwahae feeling doesn't really appeal to me, and since I have extremely dry skin, it's not enough to use on its own. It leaves a somewhat dry feeling... This is my acne-fighting hero! I've been struggling so much with cystic acne and closed comedones since last year, even falling into depression. But after using this and the BHA essence from the same line, I've finally conquered my blemishes! I'm so relieved. I've been using it since November 2020, and it's still working wonders. Be careful not to apply too much at once, or it will pill badly. You need to gently spread a small amount at a time to avoid pilling. Honestly, the application isn't great because of the pilling, but it works so well for blemishes that I'm willing to use it carefully. My skin generally responds well to salicylic acid. When I first wanted to try BHA, it was recommended to use it in cream form, so I went with this. Being from the Dr.Troub line, it's gentle, and I was able to use it without any issues during a time when my skin was really struggling. Because it's so gentle, the BHA effect isn't very strong. Also, since it's a cream type, it takes quite a while to absorb into the skin.
